MIRAKO PIZZERRIA - HandTossed Pizza (மிராகோ பீட்செரியா - ஏலகிரி மலை) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Not a good experience overall. Ordered a Pizza and some french fries. First disappointment- Also wanted to have some coldrink along with Pizza as we usually do. But they didn't have anything in the stock. Pizza with no coldrink for me is like eating a chapati with no gravy. Second disappointment- The Pizza itself- The Pizza base was made crispy on major portion of it. That spoiled the taste. Third Disappointment- The Pizza base again- in the center it was made so thin (like paper) that it couldn't handle the weight of the topping and entire topping fallen in the plate as I lift a slice. Well somehow I managed to bring it till my mouth (with whatever left on it) but it fallen on my clothes. Never had such troubling Pizza. Fourth Disappointment- They advertised their Ice cream also there so thought of having one after the Pizza but again that was also not available Fifth Disappointment- I asked for some peri peri to sprinkle on the french fries and yes they gave me the bottle but no Peri Peri in it Sixth Disappointment- When I told them I didn't like the Pizza they didn't even bother to ask me what was the reason. Like they don't care about the customer feedback. Well I didn't stressed that out and left the place after saying it politely. Finding decent eateries in Yelagiri was becoming a challenge for me and my family. Ended up coming to Mirako for a dinner, after being bored of the food provided at our accomodation.

They have semi open table seatings - which at late evenings felt comfortable to sit in. Might probably be a little warm during the afternoon though.

Placed order for a cheese garlic bread, a Margherita and a Vegetariana pizza. There was only person taking orders, handling customers and cleaning the tables as well - hats off to him for multi tasking given the decent crowd at that time.

The pizzas arrived first - looked to be home made pizza dough which was slightly sweet (something mentioned in other reviews as well) - we liked the taste of it. The sugar made the pizza a little crispy and chewy. The cheese pull was great from the pizza and both pizzas tasted good. Was pleasantly surprised given I had low expectations from the place initially.

Garlic bread arrived last and was okayish. Nothing great as such about it. But definitely not bad either.

Finally to top it off we ordered brownie with ice cream. Taste wise no complaints here - the brownie could have been a little bigger for sure though. That would have made it all the more better.

Overall a good experience and would certainly come back for a meal if I was in Yelagiri. Paid 1000 odd for the meal. They accept cash, cards and...
