Liya guest house — Hotel in Tiruvannamalai

This was my third visit to Liya Guest House, and once again, it was a truly wonderful experience.

The location is excellent—extremely peaceful and serene. From the terrace, you get a clear view of Arunachala, and you can genuinely feel its spiritual energy. The place is surrounded by nature and has a deeply calming atmosphere.

The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, especially considering the minimal pricing for such a prime location. They even provide RO drinking water, which is a great added service.

All the important places like the Arunachaleswarar Temple, Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashram, and other spiritual sites are just a short walk away. There are also many pure vegetarian, Jain food, and healthy café options available within 500 meters of the guest house.

The owner and manager are extremely kind, humble, and compassionate. They treat every guest with great respect and warmth, which really adds to the overall experience.

I would strongly recommend Liya Guest House to anyone planning a trip to Tiruvannamalai. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, and affordable place that offers both comfort and spiritual proximity.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Liya Lodge in Thiruvannamalai, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The lodge is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are beautifully organized. The proximity to key attractions is a significant advantage, making it an ideal choice for travelers.

The rooms are well-appointed with amenities such as air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay. What truly sets Liya Lodge apart, however, is the warm hospitality extended by the owners. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at Liya Guest House in Thiruvanamali. The hosting family was absolutely lovely, making us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived, in the midst of a storm. The rooms are recently renovated and fairly clean, which added to the comfort of our stay.
