Hotel Sachin International — Hotel in Uttarakhand

As we arrived late by train from Delhi, we chose Sachin International because of its convenient location right in front of the railway station. Paid ₹2200 for a night, got ourselves room# 108.

+positives: The room looked clean. Linen provided were also clean/new. However, toilet-bathroom space was in need of urgent attention. Mr Saurabh at the reception was kind enough to get the bathroom cleaned urgently. Also shared wifi password, speed was fine but connection was patchy.

-negatives: Hot water was not working. Apparently, they have 3 separate MCB switches behind reception desk for geyser, ac, and rest of the room. The person at the 1st floor reception said he will turn geyser on in the morning. I told him we have to leave by 7:30am, he assured us that is not a problem.

AC was working, but no remote. TV was there, but no remote. Only one tube light was working, all other lights were non operational. Fan was working, but only at the max speed. Curtains were all misaligned, compromising on privacy of the room from outside courtyard used for parking.

In the night around 1am, AC got switched off. Electricity was fine, just ac off. Had to get out in the middle of night to get the ac back on as the fan was only working at max speed which was causing too much noise.

In the morning, geyser wasn’t working. From 6am to 7:15am, tried finding someone on all floors who can help with geyser, but nobody could be found. There’s no contact number anywhere in the hotel premises. Contact number on Google is not working. Gave up on hot water and checked out disappointingly at 7:45am.

If someone needs a quick stay near Railway station, it is fine but ₹2200 is way too overpriced. The facilities only justify tariff of...

Hotel is opposite Train Station. It is within walking distance to same.||If you are visiting Haridwar via road (with vehicle). The hotel is outside the restricted traffic area, hence there is no issue wrt traffic in/out.|There is sufficient parking too.||The hotel is above average of the regular run-of-the-mill hotels in Haridwar.|This was a second choice hotel for us and was upto what we had expected from them.||Do check room & all fittings functional prior agreeing to pay/check in.|Service is prompt and reach for Manager, in case...if not prompt.||Attached are pix of the room,...

The hotel needs an intense maintenance in their rooms and other facilities. Very costly and not worth staying here looking at there room quality and services that they are providing.

I found a drunken staff around 12:00 in midnight when I reached hotel. He was baffling and looked like overdosed.

They don't have restro or any of such facilities.

The only good thing about them is, they're seating right opposite to the Haridwar Railway Station. But this is not very much that you should be interested in as you'll find so many better options close to railway station in the range...
