I had two bookings in Perfectstayz as part of my Haridwar pilgrimage visit for 2 families. First one was for Oct 25th night and second one for Oct 28th night.
Fri, Oct 25 – Sat, Oct 26 || Room 1: King Room ||Room 2: Deluxe Double Room Mon, Oct 28 – Tue, Oct 29 || 2 rooms
First one - (Room 1: King/Executive Room, Room 2: Deluxe Double Room) - Room 304 After making the full payment, instead of the King room, my wife and I got a Deluxe room(304) which had a toilet with faulty flush and faucet . On complaining about this, a staff member (Mr.Khan) came and did something and informed me that the flush is fixed. He had a lame excuse also for the faucet that Deluxe rooms do not have ! On checking the flush, it was still not working. I went to the reception and requested a room change. Mr. Khan started with abusive language : He said that for this money only this much facility is available. I was using the Hindi language ( not native) and Mr.Khan didn’t find it amusing. He asked me to come to Dubai and started talking in an unknown language ( my guess is Arabic/Urdu) in abusive slang. Then the executive at the reception tried to calm down Mr.Khan and gave Room 303 which was a bigger one with a proper toilet. This room had a lot of seepage and foul smell, but I thought of adjusting there since it was already 10pm. The staff said that the smell will go away if we turn on the AC for some time. We did the same and went out for 30 mins. Once I came back the situation was worse with room suffocating for good air. My friend who was staying in Deluxe room - 204, was ready to share the room and I decided to abandon 303. On request for this room cancellation, the receptionist asked to talk to Booking.com as cancellation is not possible. I tried to reach booking.com customer care and as usual with no luck. Next day morning after vacating, I called the property manager Tarun and explained the whole ordeal. But he didn’t provide any feedback or support till date. Later, I could reach the booking.com customer case and explain the whole situation. They agreed to talk to the hotel and get back. I am still waiting for the call back!
Second one - 2 executive rooms After all the above mentioned chaos and never before seen arrogant attitude by the staff, I decided not to pursue the Oct 28th booking. Through booking.com I requested the hotel to cancel the booking and return the Rs.1000 advance. Edit (Nov 9) : Property has been giving the same response to reviews that new renovated rooms will solve the issues, such a hoodwink! Also please note that the positive reviews mostly is given by close aids appreciating the...

Read moreI booked perfect stayz hotel at har ki paudi (hotel ganga heights) through their reservation desk guy Keshav Birla.
I asked for pictures and confirmed that there shall be no difference between the pics and original rooms and he confirmed it's the best I can get at such a good rate ( Rs. 2000/day/ room).
We booked 2 executive rooms. We were five people travelling (3 senior citizens were there with my husband and I). I made an advance of Rs.4000. This Keshav Birla guy said that I need to remaining at the checkout.
Now to our shock and surprise, the receptionist at the desk asked us to make the complete payment before showing us the rooms. They denied to show us the rooms at checkin. We were allocated room 301 and 302. Post checkin we saw that the walls of the rooms are broken, molded, the sunmica pastings falling off, the door knobs not working and the washroom gets constantly water logged and we had to clean for hours.
We asked the receptionist multiple times to change our rooms however he was very strict in mentioning that they are sold out hence not possible.
I had an asthma attack due to the molds, my husband got allergies and our parents had irritations in their eyes.
We booked the same hotel on our return from the trip as well which we asked them to cancel however they were not ready to cancel and refund the advance. They were then talking about cancellation policies however we were completely mis-sold and extorted.
We were determined and strict that we will not let them get away with it and held on to the food bill and mentioned unless they cancel and refund, we won't pay the food bill. After a lot of escalation they agreed to cancel the booking and refund the money. We cleared the food bill excluding the refund amount and the horrible stay and experience ended.
I strictly recommend NOT TO STAY IN THIS PROPERTY. Sharing pictures and video for...
