I stayed there for one night. The overall experience was good. there are some pros and cons but i would like to highlight the pros mostly.
First of all, the hotel is very near to Airport, so if you don't want to get stuck in the traffic and miss your flight then u should choose this place to stay.
second thing that got my attention is that, the place where the hotel is located were so many other hotel as well. But Babul hotel was unique in its design. You will have a good feeling about the hotel just by looking its appearance. The rooms are well decorated and bathroom was clean.
Third point that i like to add is that the hotel manager are staff are very co operative. I am saying this because of the fact that i went there with my mother who had a knee replacement surgery few days earlier. so it was difficult for her to walk. But the hotel management provided a wheelchair for her which really surprised me.They even got me a ground floor so that my mother doesn't have to take stairs in this condition. By seeing the dedication and cooperativeness of the hotel manager and staff i can definitely say that they are working hard to improve their standards.
fourth point is about their dining hall which is really nice. They gave complementary breakfast which was not that fancy but edible.
Fifth point: I booked the room via OYO. i had a little billing issue which OYO and the hotel management solved efficiently.
Now come to the cons which are really not that many. one thing that i would like to mention is that the rooms are not enough spacious. The bed occupies most of the space so there;s hardly enough space for a chair to fit in so if u invite a guest then u will just have to tell him/her to have a seat on your bed. The hotel is situated within a alley.you might have a hard time locating it. Uber and OLA drivers won't drop you near the hotel. You will have to find it by yourself. The food from the hotel is also a little bit pricey according to me
MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. I will look forward to stay there...
Read moreI am a frequent traveller in most of the States in India as well as also Foreign. I stayed in this Hotel on17-2-22 and again on 23-2-22 in Room no 101 on 17/2/22 and Room no 101, 102, and 204 on 23/2/22 through Make my Trip.. Rooms are very Small though it was stated the Rooms are Deluxe Room. Water was licking from Shower and Tap in Room No 101 & 102 throughout the night and very Bad Smell come out in Room No 102. I asked the Hotel in the morning of 23-2-22 to pick up us from Air Port and the Receptionist at that time (Mr. Sagar Das) told me that the charges are Rs.300/- per Cab. But after reaching Hotel he asked me to pay Rs.700/- for two cabs which should not be. I compelled to pay Rs.700/-. .The behavioure of other staff like Kamal, Mr. Singh (met on 17-2-22) and Shuva are very good. The foods are high priced and the quantity less. The Hotel is marked by Make My Trip as Value Plus Hotel but there is no facilities which I got in another Value...
Read moreThis is a hotel that is part of a series of hotels working with The Silverline Hotel. If you book with Silverline, your booking might be reserved with this hotel. That being said it is nice, the staff are attentive. The beds are very firm if you prefer that. The food in the rooftop kitchen is great. If you are just arriving in India and you are a solo female traveller, the hotel will insist they help you while you are in their care. If you need a SIM they will call around and take you to the local place, if you need a cab they will get you the cab and take you to it, if you need to go to the ATM they insist on accompanying you to make sure you make it there and back safely. This is to ensure you are safe and that you can find your way back through the narrow footpath alleys leading away from the hotel. Security is on at the door 24/7. This was great for me, but someone who wants more independence and a hotel that only offers a room, may...
