The Aster Enclave — Hotel in West Bengal

The Aster Enclave is under new ownership since less than a week now and all I can say is that this place is bound to be one of the most hospitable hotels in Kolkata. Siddharth and Divya are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts I have come across. The highlights of the place:

1. The rooms are very well maintained. The beds (mattresses) are comfortable and the linens are spotless clean. They even clean the insides of cupboards and drawers, which is surprising. Basic amenities, which aren't that basic for us guests, like geyser and air-conditioner were functioning flawlessly. A few lights in the room were not working, however, but it wasn't a big deal as the room had plenty of other working lights and it was well lit. I do recommend providing a liquid soap/handwash in the bathroom other than the shower gel and shampoo provided.
2. The quality and quantity of food is great (due compliments to the chef). Plus, they allow food to be ordered from outside restaurants as well as have an in-house restaurant which I feel is a big plus point and they should continue with this practice. Sometimes, us guests feel like for example, ordering biryani from Arsalan or ice-cream from Naturals, and it becomes massive negative point for hotels that have strict no outside food policy.
3. The service is exceptional. I remember Siddharth calling me in the evening and asking me when I would like the dinner to be served to my room and they did it with absolute punctuality.
4. Biggest highlight of this place is the WiFi speed, which is faster than high end hotels nearby like Zone By The Park and Westin. In conclusion, anyone who is wandering the internet, looking for a hotel to stay in Kolkata, and happens to stumble upon this piece of review, I will recommend you to stay at The Aster Enclave without a second thought and strongly say that your stay will be beyond satisfactory. A great hotel in every aspects. Perfect value for money. Check-In was a breeze. Manager was so good,humble & polite. The staffs too were very good & cooperative. They even upgraded us to the Suit Room & it was magnificent. Neat & Clean and decorated in a brilliant way. The room had 2Ac, A big smart TV as well. Food was good too. And every area of the hotel looks beautiful. Bed was comfy and had a very clean Bathroom with all the amenities. Located just around the the main road with even small shop for daily needs in and around. I could keep on writing and the phrases won't be enough. Just book your rooms without even thinking twice it will be worth your every penny. It's simple the best you can get at this value. Love it will be back soon. Simply A Brilliant...

One of the best budget hotels we've stayed in. From the welcome drink to the instantaneous room service, we didn't find a single shortcoming. If you are looking for an affordable stay that feels super premium and luxurious then Aster Enclave is your best option in and around New Town region. Even in other parts of Kolkata, I don't think there's any other pocket-friendly hotel they looks and feels like a 4-star property.
