Please go through all the reviews.The higher over 4 rating is nothing but fabricated by paid reviews.If you go through all reviews you will have a clear view every person who bought something had pathetic experience.All the over 4 reviews are same-like good place,nice decor and blah blah-no mention about the product they actually bought.

pathetic staff.everything we choose were unavailable for sell.everything they wanted to push sell were available.but again we have to wait like 1-2 months to get everything delivered.we even offered to buy the display ones desperately but that too were not avaiabke for sell.and always we were suggested with sonething higher in price and the salesman actually wanted to sell.absurd time limit provided to supply items.left disgusted.they dont even care when we left.when confronted them with the shorter time limit to deliver same item mentioned in their own online store simply they said that they gurantee that the furnitures will not be delivered on the mentioned dates.disgusted and left the store.later on way called lake town show room of kolkata and initially explained that we wont want the same experience of that we had in central mall.they asked for the photos of the furnitures we wanted and we sent them over whatsapp.to our surprise some items that were "not available in kolkata and have to bring from jaipur and will take at least 1 month to deliver" as we were told in central mall were "available in kolkata warehouse only".they even guranted us if we make a payment by today 12 pm everything will be available by 21 october and thats a promise.but already we lost our trust on hometown.ordered everything from prepperfy and amazon and yes they are promised to be delivered before 14 october.moral of the story-to the hometown central mall store salesmen-who attended us-"young people particularly young couples can buy furnitures too and yes some people so earn over lakhs in young age too.try to value and respect each customer" p.s.-ultimately hometown lost a deal of over 2.5 lakhs in single shot.may be small amount for your company.but you lost our trust.if you dont believe I am ready to share by amount details too.thank you. Go have nice business with push sells.and yes lights at everywhere in display corners were switched off.had to request multiple tines to switch light on.happy furniture...

I purchased a modular kitchen from Home Town at New Town, Kolkata in 2019. It had 10 years warranty and was quite expensive. All metallic parts are from the world famous German company Hatech. Within the first three months the dustbin started to rust and by sixth month it was fully rusted. Hometown said Hatech supplied components are not covered under warranty against rusting. They said water has fallen on it and held me responsible for the rust. They expect that a kitchen will be completely dry including the sink area. After lot of requests and persuasion they replaced it. Now surprisingly two years have passed but there is no rusting on the replaced dustbin. It is still a puzzle for me. The new dustbin is placed at the same place at the same house but it is free from any rust even after more than two years whereas the previous one caught rust after three months. Now coming to the hinges. Around 8 to 10 hinges are rusted after six months of use and one got broken after one year of use. No water falls on these hinges. These are supposed to be from world leaders Hatech!!! Hometown are not replacing them free of cost as these are not covered under warranty. The hinges in my three wash rooms are locally procured from ordinary shops, continuously exposed to water and there is no rust after three years and working fine. Never seen in life a hinge breaking after a year and getting rusted only after six months that also in an indoor environment. These are very complicated and intricately designed steel hinges and not ordinary ones. In my opinion all the so called Hatech items are either duplicate or extremely cheap and hence not covered under warranty. These are not made of stainless steel as it should be. One cabinet door became bent, on its own, at the top left corner after a year or so. As a replacement the door which they sent took six months or more to arrive and it also got bent from the same place just after two months. There is another cabinet door which had an installation problem from the very beginning. It is perpetually misaligned, hanging and doesn't close properly. Till date they couldn't repair it. The warranty is an eyewash and the money is a waste. I am feeling totally disappointed and will never buy any product from ...

They have got a wide variety of furnitures. But I am changing my review today as their quality and services are not upto the mark. I had bought 3 beds, 2 cupboards and a dining set. The installation was done within a few days of delivery, but the problem starts within a few months. You can clearly notice the poor quality of materials being used when the top layer of the board starts to erode. A few days back, suddenly the bottom part of my dining table came off on it’s own. The part that came off was not even assembled by any screw, it was a pasting of some sort that came from factory when the item was delivered. I have attached pictures also.

Since this happened within 4months, I went ahead and lodged a complaint with them, and I was assured that I would be contacted within 1 week by their technician. It has been 2 and a half week since then. When I contacted them after one week of no contact, they said it might take 10 days, but now it’s 17 days after my complaint, and they deliberately don’t even take up my call.

Buy furniture from anywhere other than hometown. They provide poor quality items, and dont even hold up their end of the bargain when it comes to warranty. I was cheated, hope this review saves you...
