She exuded a genuine concern for my well-being, making me feel valued and cared for. In contrast to the inconsistent quality often found in luxury hotels in the region, The Westin Kolkata, led by staff like Riya, excels in providing a consistently high standard of service. It's not just about fixing issues as they arise but about getting things right from the very beginning. This approach was evident in the way Riya anticipated and catered to my needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

I also want to acknowledge Ashmita, who, on one occasion, also demonstrated genuine concern and played a part in making my stay comfortable. Her contribution, although brief, did not go unnoticed and added to the overall positive experience.

I have mixed experience with Westin kolkata rajarhat honestly, at some point i felt like they are very good in few things but if you start thinking in different perspectives they are lacking. Let me explain,when we think about a 5 star hotel, it is mainly related to stay/food/ facilities etc. So the price of the pool accessible or bath tub attached room rents are quite high according to me, for a day. plus food & beverages you order from hotel also on the higher side, 2 bottles of beer (ex-Budweiser) COSTS 1.2K, prepaid. Now bottles you think are a big size beer bottle 665ml , unfortunately no , it is American styled 335ml at that price. Food is average quality, high price, no idea breakfast buffet included or not, or just paid breakfast room service is available,as i went for business purposes, all provided by company. No supplementary gala dinner/lunch/breakfast provided ,only paid room service i could take. Now let's skip to the good part, i never knew these hotels recently provide rental stay hour basis, i went for a photoshoot project, the room was taken for 6 hours only, I never knew these types of facilities provided by 5 star hotels. From that point of view the rooms are super budget friendly, just do your work & leave the premises , & the rooms they provide are superb quality from bathtub land line to washroom/shower/sink was high quality & extra polished. Basic amenities shampoo/conditioner/gel soap/ gown/towel /tissues/personal designer closet/ lights/ different types of makeup mirror / blower/ tea coffee/ as usual are all in there but with extra high quality.
