Hotel AGT Park — Hotel in Zone 11 Valasaravakkam

I stayed here for 1 night during my last business trip to Chennai. Located on the main road, this hotel is quite hard to miss out on. They have an indoor parking facility which can accommodate approximately 20 cars at a time. But getting into parking is a bit tricky and you might need some assistance if you are driving a big car.

Service is kind of above average as the checkin process was bit delayed as they couldn't able to find my name (though I booked the room 2 days before). No one assisted me with the luggage and they instructed wrong floor number to my room.

Room was big enough but the AC was not cooling enough, bed linen was not clean, bathroom use to smell during the morning hours. Biggest drawback of all was poor insulation of room. Since the hotel is located next to main road and as there is an ongoing metro rail project in front of the hotel, noise polution is too much to bear. Even in the middle of the night random loud lorry horns will keep you awake. Didn't get the good sleep at all.

You can find good vegetarian & non vegetarian restaurants around the property. Also this hotel has a functional restaurant along with 2 banquet halls. As I didn't use any other amenities apart from room I can comment on the same.

As this hotel was not worth the money I spent, I'll definitely avoid it next...

I would like to start off with a BIG THANK YOU note to the AGT banquet team for making my Daughter's First Birthday party, on 16th March 2019, a grand success. The service was extremely professional and genuine. Special thanks to Rajashekar - banquet manager, for the genuine organization of the party hall. The Food was simply awesome. Not a single invitee on our event missed to mention the good taste of food. Keep rocking team. I personally felt this is the best output one can get in terms of food and service. The food was served hot and refilled swiftly, each time the quantity went down. Really excellent service. Finally, I would also like to mention how well the owner of AGT park treated us. We initially went to taste food at AGT park before confirming the banquet, when the owner approached us and explained how he personally takes care of the kitchen for each of the event. Really nice talking to him. Thank you Sir. Overall, I would like to rate the hotel as the best, in terms of food and service. I would personally recommended AGT park all my friends and relatives. We have celebrated two family function and one friends get together in AGT party call.. Very great experience and entire people very much satisfied the below listed services. Very good veg food preparation and great leaf service for family functions. Spaciality - Veg Briyani, creamy payasam, glob jamun, Kara kuzhambu and aviyal. Non veg food in friends get together.. Super juicy mutton Briyani, thanduri chicken, chicken chitinadu gravy. Well maintained AC halls and very good hall arangsmrnts based on function needs. Very flexible staffs and adopted all guest requests and great service provided even during my first function during covid situation. Jestina and her father (MD of the hotel) has been coordinated the event perfectly and ensuring food service and quality all the times. Also their managers Rajasekar Also very good..
