Not altogether an enjoyable experience, staying at this OYO Hotel. The walls in the room where I stayed had scratches and are due for colour-washing. The toilets also need maintenance to make it look clean and attractive-looking. All staff do not wear uniforms and the service provided does not give a 'professional' touch. The restaurant in the ground floor is only a small room, with seats for about 15 people at most. They don't cook at the restaurant and food you order comes from the "Curryz & Gravyz" kitchen in the front side of the hotel (and likely, other places too). Only free channels can be watched on TV. Plus points are: i) Excellent location, near the main road ii) Proximity to a number of restaurants and eating places iii) Restaurant food is fairly good and moderately priced e.g. on the date of this review, a Chicken Biriyani (one big piece of chicken and sufficient rice) is priced at Rs.100/= iv) ATM available very close by v) Quiet and clean vi) Honest and decent dealings vii) Parking space available in the hotel's compound (about 3 large cars can easily fit in, as well as a number of 2-wheelers). There is no travel desk, foreign exchange counter etc as in bigger hotels. The hotel's location is out of the operational limits of Ola & Uber, so plan your local travel arrangements (in Thoraipakkam) accordingly, if you intend to stay here. Book this hotel if ur really tight on budget and book them only if u get discounts from different sites otherwise if u have the money and want to spend a quality time in chennai and u dont need to visit the two apollos near the area this isnt the place for u. The hotel is not terrible for the price but it has alot of problems to fix to make me comeback here. 1st being the hotel is filled with mosquitos and the all-out they provide u is useless, 2nd its far from the main city and taxi fares will put u in a tight spot, 3rd the reception is pathetic we asked for room cleaning thoughout our 8 days of stay and they just dont wanna show up the rooms are dirty and filled with mosquitos blood stains in the bedsheets and tv that they didnt pay subscription for. The only good thing i found was the reception people try to be friendly and the hotel has grocery,saloons, and food stores nearby and the free breakfast is good enough. If u are tight on budget and can deal with insects and if they fix their attitude towards room cleaning by the time u visit then u might have a better...

If you are coming with your family... special with husband/wife/brother/sister/ or take any relationship...Don't forget to bring your relationship card as they ask for the certificates or relationship proof or marriage photos along with family.... It's true people r misusing the facility but there is a way of asking n requesting things. It's really bad to see such faces n questions from staffs . We have provided the proofs but how about the facilities from the hotel...we have to call them for each n every thing...while booking we never asked for facility certificate as we trust even those facilities we're not provided when room...
