Maharaja Department Store — Local services in Zone 15 Sholinganallur

As this shop is close to my home, in case of emergency, though the people here are not customer friendly, I am mandated to go to this shop. Even if u find all the items, cost is high only. They don't know how to treat the customers. I don't feel comfortable shopping here, bcoz people look at you every second, to make sure to know what item u r touching, as if we are thieves. This happens everytime I go there. Recently when my relatives came to Chennai, my children took all their cousins to that shop to buy some candies, but these people treated them badly, specially one old man works there, he pushed them outside without mercy. If they don't allow children below 12 yrs.. or if they don't allow children in groups, they should announce it by displaying that children are not allowed.. that was a very bad experience we had. They don't allow us to take milk packets on our own, this old man will check which is the old packet and gives that to us. From the time I started to ask the fresh milk they started to look at me with a question face why I come to this shop. Gift items are costly too. I don't see suggest this shop to anyone. Nowadays I prefer blinkit, bb for my shopping. If you are find any positive ratings or positive reviews here, it is definitely given...

It is a small departmental store with most of the stuffs are available. Since it is very near to me I used to visit that shop even though the price is bit high. But it is NOT customer friendly. For example: if we are buying something and want to exchange it in next day with some other stuffs even though it is packed item still they will not exchange. In this digital world they are still running like 30 years back business model. Great surprise to see this type of business model that to in metro...
