Louis Burger, Thoraipakkam — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I've been ordering burgers from this place through swiggy many times as they served up very good fare which was worth the cost. However lately the quality has dropped sharply.

The chessy fries were average and the burger was mediocre. There was only the patty between two squashed buns with not much other additions/toppings, like in the images another recent reviewer posted. Earlier there used to be a very rich assortment of additions and the patty was very well made. The next day I wound up getting a bit sick.

It seems to be a common trend - many formerly good restaurants gradually compromise on quality, making small cost-cutting measures over time, like removing some additions, using less than fresh ingredients until you wind up with an item that is completely unrecognizable from when they started out. It's quite disappointing this place has fallen into this trap as well.

I would not be ordering from here again and rather try to cook my own...

Louis Burger is my go-to spot for burgers in Chennai. I absolutely love their packaging—such a cute box that turns into a plate, which is such a thoughtful touch. The sauces are a major highlight—truffle sauce is to die for, and the animal sauce for peri-peri fries is amazing. The fries are definitely my favorite in the city. I’ve seen a few reviews mentioning that the food quality has dropped recently, and since I haven’t ordered from them in a while, I really hope they maintain their high standards. DONOT BUY FROM HERE.. I do not know why this place is rated high. We ordered five burgers.mix of veg and non veg..btw all are super expensive. For this price they didnt even bother to put a veg, nonveg sticker or marking. This instance i certainly got to judge book by its cover. If this is not taken care of..how can they make premium burgers. Quite unprofessional. More importantly, guys fix your google location- its a pain to locate you (or is it you want to keep it hush hush).
