Fanar Residency — Hotel in Zone 5 Royapuram

One of the places that won my heart in the recent times. May not be such a 5 star hotel in terms of luxury but the people who run it make the stay pleasant and memorable. It was raining when I arrived with my children ( 2 and half years old and 1 year old) As they saw that I was finding it difficult with the babies, the receptionist ran out and asked me to stay in the car while the bellboy ran in to bring an umbrella. They stood in the rain holding the umbrella for us while not a hair on my children's head got wet. While we checked out too they were extremely helpful, with the luggage and hailing of the auto as most of the autos were reluctant. These gestures matter more than anything. Very near to chennai central railway station.Normal person could reach this place by walk within 10 minute from central railway station.Rooms are very neat.western toilet and hot water through solar panel available.AC is good condition.dressing table and cupboard are provided.LED TV is also installed.Incase of additional occupation , extra bed are supplied duly collecting extra charges.we are stayed for one day with pleasant.Food are provided in room if any body want, for that charges would be collected. We booked almost 11 rooms here in Fanar. The rooms were really spacious and we also added an extra bed in some rooms. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. ||I spoke to the person in the Reception regarding a few negative reviews in the Trip Advisor. He said the management has changed recently and have renovated the entire property. This can be seen in each room the room, bathroom, the bedsheets, the glass everything is very clean. Also the breakfast is really good and is free with every room booking. There is also the availability of small party room for celebrations in the 1st floor.
