Samudra Residency chennai — Hotel in Zone 5 Royapuram

Just an average hotel for someone who wants to stay put to catch an early morning train. The room is very basic and feels quite old. They are clean but it would help if they do a better house cleaning. The bed sheets were quite old, well past their prime with sheets crossing white, yellow to almost brown shade. I did notice quite a few baby cockroaches so that is something to consider. You don't want these roaches to come home. The best part surely is the location, it is less than 5 mins walk from platform no 1, so the commute is the best. But apart from that there isn't much to say...

Worst experience, kindly avoid booking this hotel in Chennai, you have lot more better options , my bad I was in a hurry so I booked this hotel in mmt, when I reached hotel to check in, they don't even have booking information and don't have rooms that I have booked and I have paid for early check-in charge's also, finally they provide 3 suit rooms but AC's were not working properly , even in suit room they didn't provide water bottle. What can I say there wey lot more bad experiences. Never ever stay in...

I book hotel via Paytm for two adult n one kid @1600 for two nights non AC room 24 to 26 Oct 2017. I get cash back 480 return from Paytm. They provide double bed room, lift facility is available, room is clean n good but it's too small in size is difficult to manage everything but 560 per night rate it's value for money. In hotel there is no signal in my n wife's mobile as we using idea, Jio n BSNL Sims. They provide WiFi buts it's not working in room u have to go out, it's too horrible....
