The Mount Riviera — Hotel in Zone 9 Teynampet

Hotel is good, but the behaviour of the receiptionist was not so good. They were rude because I made this booking online and didn't pay any cash amount to them coz it was already paid. They were continuously asking for extra guest charges. I had booked a room for 3 guests for 3 days. But They told it was showing for 2 guests in their system. They were forcing me to pay the xtra amount or cancel the booking. I agreed n asked for the refund thn they told me that it can't be refunded... And the room service was worst for me. Breakfast was complementary for all which has not provided to us just bcoz we made the booking online n didn't pay any cash amount to them.

One suggestion for the owner of this hotel. PLZ TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES.. AND TRAIN THEM TO BEHAVE PROPERLY...

We booked this hotel from OYO app and did not pay the money online. When we came here, the hotel manager asked us to pay the money to himeself and not in online. We have a dicounted amount on the app. But he insisted us to pay the full amount other wise NO ROOM for us. Manager was shouting at us all the time. He told us "OYO is not controlling this hotel, and they are the owners here". Room boys understood the situation but they can't help us anything. Very very bad service from the management. Bedsheets were dirty and AC's are not cooling at all. Toilets are also not clean. If you have to meet number ONE fraud in Chennai, you just visit this hotel. Don't ever ever ever come...

The room was not even 50% of what they had shown in Oyo. When asked, they said the bigger room for which we paid was not available so we have adjust in this.. seriously!! And worst part is, we were 2 hours late for check out as we had gone out and reached late. Instead of calling us on the phone to check or politely asking for extra amount, the manager there started shouting at us! Is that the way to behave with their family guests!!! Suggestion is to completely avoid this place. You get a lot better...
