Al Taj Biriyani — Restaurant in Zone 9 Teynampet

I recently had the opportunity to try the Altaj bucket biryani combo and I must say, I was quite impressed. The combo came with a generous portion of flavorful biryani along with a variety of side dishes, making it a complete and satisfying meal.

The biryani itself was aromatic and packed with delicious spices. The rice was fragrant and cooked to perfection, with each grain remaining separate and fluffy. There were large chunks of tender, well-marinated chicken pieces mixed throughout the rice, providing a tasty protein element to the dish. I am a customer for this restaurant for the past 2 years.

Location: It's in main Triplicane street while we come from Chepauk road or Anna Salai road.

Restaurant: The first time I came across this restaurant on instagram through their offer advertisement. Once visited their outlet for dine in The Biryani was good and tasty ( almost 2 years back ).

Then started trying their Bucket Biryani. For a family of 4 we are satisfied with the quantity since for lunch we have fully and we have minimal for dinner too. They give with a bucket full of biryani with adequate amount of chicken pieces. 1 full Tandoori Chicken, muttanjan sweet, bread halwa, pepper chicken small quantity. The taste is also good.

Price: Before the bucket price was 899, now it has been changed to 999.

Parking : There is no dedicated space for parking, but open street parking is there since it's bus route and the road is also small we have to park carefully.

They have also opened one of their other outlets...

I've ate biriyani yesterday... ie : 16/01/2022 the food they gave was not hot... I guess the biriyani they served has been made before hours... The tase was only 2 star rating... Personally I didn't like that ambience bcoz when I went and sat with my sister she a embarassed of that table... Not cleaned... For the people who wanted to go there and eat don't go for this biriyani only... If your on the way of triplicane when your hungry you can go and have food but it's not worth for money... Please don't waste your time and money by going only to eat the biriyani here... And for the owner... Please try to change these things I've said... I guess you'll change...
