Geary Hotel — Hotel in Bandung City

Our first experience at Geary Hotel Bandung. We're a group of 4, booked 2 smart twin rooms. I've read some reviews before ordering and it seems quite promising.

We checked in on Tuesday 2.30 PM. Reception mentioned that only 1 room is ready at that time. I mentioned that we don't mind waiting for the other room to be cleaned & ready, I only requested the room to be cleaned thoroughly. We only need to access 1 room to dropped our stuffs & to charge our phone.

The reception checked the rooms again for a minute then asked if it's okay if the room is across to each other instead of adjacent rooms. We really don't mind as long as nearby. Then he informed that the rooms are ready & we can checked in right away. We stayed at room 317 and 320. Required deposit IDR 100k, refundable after check out.

First impression, the lobby is clean, fragrant, staffs are friendly. Convenient parking space.

Hotel aisle on the 3rd floor also smelled fresh & fragrant. They had the windows opened for sunlight & air circulation.

The room is spacious, bed size also quite large, 120x200 for twin bed size, Lady Americana, cozy bed, clean & fragrant bedsheet, blanket and towels. Bathroom also clean. AC also cold. All rooms had windows (important for sunlight & air circulation). Mini fridge available too. One of our bed had loose stand so it's a bit wiggly, but it's not too bothersome. While the AC at room 317 is not that cold, maybe some maintenance/cleaning is needed. It's also quiet on our rooms area. We had a good rest.

Smoking area located next to the dining area at the Lobby. Unfortunately only 1 ashtray available on 1 table from all 3 tables at the smoking area.

Breakfast is average, they do had different options. We had breakfast a bit late at 9 AM. Since we stayed during weekdays, the hotel is not too crowded. The spaghetti is a bit too salty.

On checkout, the reception asked about our stay. We're definitely happy and satisfied. The room and bathroom is CLEAN and the bed is comfy. These are very important to us when choosing a place to stay.

Definitely recommend and will be staying again when we travel to Bandung. Please keep up with service, quality, maintenance and the cleanliness! I hope it remains as good as it is...

We stayed at Geary for a long weekend on april 2022. The hotel is located across Bandung train station at jalan kebon kawung near Cicendo, Very convenient to go anywhere in Bandung thanks to its strategic locations. Vehicle parking available for cars and motorbikes. The receptionist at the lobby are polite and friendly, we got asked to choose 1 breakfast menu for each person for tomorrow’s breakfast and the requested delivery time, they said breakfast will be delivered to our room, not in the restaurant, maybe due to covid19 precautions. When we got to our room, it happenned to be twin beds, it was spacious and has the same colour theme kind of tosca green and wooden brown all around the hotel. I think the hotel borrows from the 1950s-60s colour theme, it sets a totally different tone from the moment we came in. Each room is equipped with a hair dryer, you dont need to ask for it. You might want to ask for toilet tissue roll and a small towel for bathroom floor, it wasnt there when we got in. The hotel serve a decent breakfast, 1 menu + pudding + glass of water, delivered right on time. The shower is functional both cold & hot water. Room rate is decent and worth the budget, very recommended for business trip or a simple laidback weekend holiday. Would love to stay...

Geary Hotel in Bandung, located near the Pasir Kaliki train station and convenient stores, and next to prima rasa store.

It is a great budget-friendly option with a good standard. We stayed for just one night, and I was impressed by how well-maintained the hotel is.

The room size is pretty decent, offering ample space for our needs, and the bathroom was clean and well-appointed. Some rooms have connecting doors, which is great for families or groups. The hotel also has a refreshing lemongrass fragrance that adds to the pleasant atmosphere.

Breakfast was decent for Rp. 80,000 nett per person, providing enough variety to start the day. The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing our stay.
