One of my favourite place to have bfast is lontong kari kebon karet, they starting nearly thirty years ago (i think) until now 2020 the flavour and taste still the best lontong in town. Today im having lontong kari regular its cost idr 23k (nearly usd2.00) beleive me that is value for money. Im completly full till lunch time. It consists of cube shaped steamed rice (lontong/tipat), one quail egg, a few sliced beef, melinjo chips (emping) and fried soybeans with coconut curry milk. To be honest, their soup has a nice santan viscosity but they are way too sweet for me. Adding their unspicy chilli sambal won’t help to make it any better. Read moreKebon Karet Alley is a walking distance from Bandung Station. So, the first thing to do after we arrived in Bandung by train is heading to this place. When you find the alley, you will see all the signs and huge banner of the place.
The place is small and could be very cramped on the peak hours but still convenient since Bandung is not as hot as Jakarta. Price is fair US$2/serve.
