compared to jakarta cathedral, the option to keep holding a sunday 6⁰⁰ a.m. eucharist is the reason i'll give this cathedral a five star. regarding to weather issue, i'll advise you to wear the jas/the coat because 20°C is still cold for some people. and, yes! that's what was the 6⁰⁰ a.m. eucharist will happen to you.
i have so many good memories with parish priests here, especially with r.p leo van beurden o.s.c. his and other parish priests' pastoral guidance, even just for a little talk, are somewhat very useful in this cruel world.
since june 2022, the parish priests here are making efforts to use confession room more frequent. that is a good point too. you just have to have a little chat with priest after mass to do the confession....

The St Peter's Cathedral in jln merdeka is a beautiful, yet simple church .. w a wooden ceiling tt towers high abv .. designed by Wolf Schoemaker in Neogothic style .. and consecrated in 1922 .. there is a beautiful baptismal chamber at the left ent of the church .. sat sunset service was in bahasa indonesia, as was the sermon, but not beyond our comprehension ..
There ia s beautiful grotto within the church grounds .. candles r made available for anyone, everyone .. w a few rows of pews, tt allow parishners to sit in silence, in prayer ..

Beautiful church located on the heart of Bandung that makes this place really strategic and easily accessible by public transportation. This is the cathedral episcopal see of Diocese of Bandung. As you can see, the top and the shape of the building ressemble a cross. It has small place to pray and devote to Mother Mary. The Pieta is located near the main entrance of the building. I love the original pipe organ and the other organ that give a great moment for the mass held here.
