Kaleydo Villas Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Gili Trawangan

Let's dive straight into the things we don't like - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I liked the place when I saw it online and after I stayed there, experienced the hospitality and kindness of the staff, it's second to none. I LOVE IT! They were so patient, always accommodating, and took great care to make all the guests feel comfortable. I had missed my ferry getting into Gili T by my own mistake and so arrived a day later but I had had terrible sleep in mainland Bali and Sanur as my hotels were both under construction. So when I arrived at Kaleydo and they're were doing some really minute knocking and repair work, I think I lost it. But the staff did the most unexpected - they kept smiling and did not lose their composure. Instead, she asked the maintenance person to stop working and only continue once I had left the room. Such a small gesture that meant so much to me! Also, they prepared the bicycle for me ( lowered the seat and brought it over) - thank you Hardy! Breakfast is lovely and the coffee, perfect! I really enjoyed the food and guess what? They cleaned my room twice in a day, so it was always immaculate . Out of this world 💞 best part? They refunded me for the one night's stay that I had missed due to my own mistake. It's like, they just know how to make everything go smoothly. I would ideally like to give this stay 5 stars but felt a bit ...bamboozled when i arrived. I booked off of Expedia and felt like i was booking the villa with a pool view. We had one of the back 4 villas that have a "spa pool." This one has a wall around which kind of made us a bit claustrophobic. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel if you are able to get the villas with a pool view balcony.

The service is exceptional. The staff is sooo helpful and attentive. The villas are clean, the breakfast is delicious and on time. You receive the breakfast via room service at your requested time and it is exceptional. They have complimentary bikes (which you will use), snorkeling equipment, water shoes and even a go pro (memory card not included). They also have complimentary afternoon tea!

On our last night we did notice that there were little bugs falling from our ceiling...about 20-30 of them. We called housekeeping and they look very confused as they had not seen this before. They helped us move to an alternate room for our last night and cleaned that villa until the morning. With Villa's and island life come bugs and such but they dealt with the issue very well. the rooms are a bit dated but clean. Kind of a strange smell from the toilet but i think that is due to drainage.

My husband and I just finished our stay at Kaleydo Villas last week and we cannot say enough good things about it. The staff make you feel like family and we were actually quite sad to leave. The attention to detail is superb. The villas we're exceptionally clean and well maintained. The night time turn down was wonderful. Fresh towels anytime you need. Breakfast was perfect... We loved that we could roll out of bed and have it served to us right on our patio. The swimming pool was amazing, although, a little on the hot side.. but I guess that can't be avoided in a climate like that. We really appreciated the free bicycles and snorkelling gear. They were very helpful when we wanted to go fishing for the day. They arranged everything and even rode bikes down to the beach with us to make sure we found the right people. We loved every second of our stay at Kaleydo. They really know what they're doing in terms of customer service. We travelled around Indonesia for three weeks and stayed in some very high end villas and hotels, but Kaleydo was by far our favorite place. Highly...
