An Unforgettable Experience at Mango Dive Center

I recently had the pleasure of diving with Mango Dive Center, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Initially, I had planned to do just one or two dives to get a feel for it, but after such an amazing first dive, I ended up doing six dives—and I’m so glad I did!

A huge part of the reason I ended up diving so much was the fantastic team, particularly Sinta and Ana. Both of them are incredible instructors who made me feel completely at ease and excited about every dive.

Sinta has a calm, reassuring presence, and her deep knowledge of the dive sites made each dive even more exciting. Her passion for the ocean is inspiring, and I felt totally safe and confident with her as my guide.

Ana, on the other hand, was such a friendly and patient guide. Her enthusiasm for marine life was infectious, and she was always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and having fun.

The dive sites were absolutely stunning—clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and so much marine life to discover. Everything was perfectly organized, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish.

In the end, what started as a quick dive session turned into a series of incredible underwater adventures. If you’re looking for a diving center that makes you feel comfortable, excited, and safe, I can’t recommend Mango Dive Center enough. Wow, may I be so bold in saying that this place might be my favorite place in the whole world? While I only spent two days at Georgs place, I will be thinking about my stay there for a long time. I spontaneously signed up to learn to scuba dive while I was here at mango and had a life changing experience. Ang, my instructor, was so helpful and so easy to trust. Took me out for my first dive ever and helped me see a part of the world I’ve never had the privilege of seeing. Everyone on the boat was so helpful and encouraging, Afryan and Harry and even the other divers. Ang made sure I was okay during the whole 45 minute dive. He is truly the best. The whole experience felt so individual. After the dive, they invited me to come again in the afternoon (how could I possibly refuse). After a whole day together, lots of laughs, food, shared conversation, and one of the best experiences of my life, I consider the people at this property FRIENDS. Nothing like waking up for breakfast the next morning and hearing the chimes of my mates saying “Caroline! Hey!! Good morning! Well look who’s bringing the energy!” The people at this property are the best of the best. Georg has something truly so special on his hands, and I’m so grateful that I got to experience it. Several things stand out as why this was such a great week. First, the entire staff was friendly, courteous and very willing help any way possible. I was finding Gili T confusing and they were there to answer all my silly questions.|I took advantage of the dive school to earn my Basic Diver certification. Diving was a little scary and my instructors both provided exactly the encouragement I needed to make it through each step of the process. Sebastian was my instructor day one. I really appreciated how he paid attention to both verbal and non-verbal indications that I needed reassurance. With his help, I quickly overcame the fear and was able to enjoy the training and the first dive. On the second day, Victor was exactly the right person for my training. The two instructors took the time to communicate my progress and what I needed to work on so that Day 2 progressed seamlessly. The entire experience was exhilarating and felt very safe because of the kindness and expertise of these instructors.|Snorkeling was just a 2-minute walk from my room. I saw turtles every day along the shore between Mango and Turtle Point.|Lastly, I was super happy that my standard room was quiet, nice air-conditioned and very comfortable.
