Santorini Beach Resort — Hotel in Gili Trawangan

I almost cancelled the resort due to so many recent negative reviews, but I am soooooo glad I didn't!! I can't fault the resort or the staff at all. The ONLY negative for the resort is the first time we got a Hawaiian pizza it was delicious, the second time they added so much bell pepper and onion (I don't know why) and my child wouldn't eat it. Breakfast was delicious every day. (Restaurant staff are om Bali time though haha)

The staff 10/10. So kind, generous and caring. The room.10/10. It's not small like other reviews have suggested. We fit 3 suitcases fine. If you want it cleaned, ask and leave your keys with reception (this is the only way it will get cleaned, they will not enter your room as your key is the only key for that room!!). Each time your room.is cleaned, there is also a staff member filming. This is for yours and their protection! Pool is on the small side, but the kids had fun. It was always clean. Bugs in the morning like all resorts but they do clean it every day. 10/10 cleanliness in the room and the grounds. Sometimes plates are left for a bit too long but again, Bali time.

The push bikes to rent unfortunately aren't the best. We ended up going down the road to get some. But that's not a negative, just a heads up.

I honestly don't know why there is so many negative reviews. I will 100% come back here.

Other guests are the ONLY ones who caused problems. Once the bars shut guests came back at 2-3am to continue to party (2 different groups on 2 different nights). The security spoke.to the people the first night, I did the second night as they had also woken us at 11pm on their way out to party and had zero respect when they came back. People need to have respect for other guests !! And the staff. I heard one guest demand his room be cleaned right now and spoke to the staff so rude.

It's a 700k IDR a night hotel. Do not expect a 5 star resort and please at all hotels remember to respect the other guests and staff.

The service is splendid! The staff and managers there are very informative, helpful, and friendly. They share tips", price information, and travel contacts so that you can vacation at a normal price, not being markuped too high and this is very helpful! They provide bicycle rentals too, and the staff is really helpful. One of my friends can't ride bicycles, and they helped us by giving a ride. wow. Plus the staff there are ready to help 24 hours so that all of us who happen to be girls feel very safe The condition of the place and hotel rooms are exactly the same as the photos. Nice, clean and instagramable. Complete facilities: water heater, AC, swimming pool The location of the hotel is a bit far from the center of the crowd, but the plus is that it is quiet and still safe. If we take the cidomo from the pier, it cost: Rp100,000,- The number of people who can stay should be exactly the same with in the written provisions (2 people), if more, 100,000 extra beds will be charged/person Breakfast is delicious and healthy. Not a buffet, but per serving, you can choose and it's quite filling. Somehow the people who stay there are also very friendly and helpful, so while staying there, it feels like home. One of the thematic hotels in Gili Trawangan with an iconic 'Santorini' feel. Not so big but it feels private.

The place, and services:

this hotel is slightly far from the Gili Trawangan port so you must use Andong or local people said 'si domo' and the price for 1 trip is 150k which can fit up to 3 people with the luggage but it is conditional (sometimes the pak kusir who decide how many people for taking up)

this hotel has a pool in front of the rooms and some sunbathing mattresses and benches

not only that, but the mini restaurant is also available there next to the receptionist

the room is neat and clean, and of course the bathroom

the services from their employees are great. They were very kind to welcome the guests and were ready to help bring our luggage to the room that they already prepared

there are many spots that you can explore to get photos and videos. I suggest that you'd be prepared for sunrise and sunset to take cool pictures if you are lazy to go around Gili

Some parts that can be improved based on my experience stay there:

maybe the hotel can provide dinner and late dinner menus because not all the people want to take a walk around

some edge of the corner in the room is dusty and I notice some bugs there (Pest control may be needed)
