Skinny Dip Sunset Club — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Stayed at Lumi for 4 nights from May 27 - 31, 2024 (room under Farry Tandean / Ernie Tjokrosetio) and we really had above average expectations. We had korean fried chicken at sunset one day and that was superb but breakfast service everyday started from great to horrible as each day went on. Yesterday (May 30) my husband and I ordered fried noodles at breakfast and the service staffs did not put in the order. My brother had his meal and finished and we did not get the order we’ve placed. We asked the waiter to see the progress of our fried noodles and they came back to ask “did u order fried rice or fried noodles?”. I said fried noodles and then after waiting 30 minutes, they came 5 mins later with fried rice!!! I told them thats not what we ordered and they told me its going to take another 10 mins for the fried noodles. On top of that they did not offer us coffee or tea.

Last night (May 30) around 8pm I had approached the front desk telling him that I need to order 2 breakfast main course to go. He then directed me to speak to one of the waiters at the restaurant. I spoke to they waiter and I saw him writing my order for tomorrow morning (May 31) at 7:10AM and the order was 2 fried noodles. This morning I came to breakfast to pick up my 2 fried noodles and there were nowhere to be found. The breakfast staff told me there was no mention from the shift last night about this! Can you believe it?!! The vibe of the restaurant & lounge areas were surely nice but the staffs just lack attentiveness and care! I had to go catch my boat this morning so I left. What a...

Beware of any drink promotions because they will try to charge you full price at the end!!! AND The deals with 5 beers for a package price are usually more expensive than buying them separately.

Upon arrival the lady there suggested we have 5 beers and you get 50 percent off in total for the package. I accepted the offer and my girlfriend and I spent a few hours there having more drinks and food. The issue we had was when we asked for the bill. They had charged us full price for the beers, I called them over and told them their error and they went away and came back with the amended bill. However i checked and they had only removed 15 percent off. I then called them over and they were adamant the package I bought was 15 percent off and not 50 percent. My humour quicky left I became angry and the manager was called over and it became apparent the lady who had served me did finally confess to saying 50 percent. This argument over the bill lasted a good 10 minutes I might add!

It's a real shame because I would have come back here but they are blatantly trying to rip people off. I wonder how many other people have just paid the extra money when they said 15 percent instead of 50 percent and just put it down to the language barrier.

This place is great, very modern and luxurious site with a nice pool and large sun beds to enjoy the sunset on the western side of the island, stumbled upon this place accidently whilst riding our bikes. We went for bogof happy hour cocktails from 6pm-7pm which were really tasty especially the mango frozen margerita! We also ordered food which was delicious, had the pork and prawn spring rolls which were incredible,the best I have ever eaten! My girlfriend had the prawn carbonara and we shared the banana fritters and choclate dessert for after, everything was prepared to a high standard and we returned another 2 times during our stay.
