Andara Home Setiabudi — Hotel in Jakarta

The room that I stayed in isn’t completely seperated with walls with the room next door. I can hear every noise from room next to me. Refer to the video attached. You can see a light coming in from outside/ next room indicating it’s not completely walled. So the noises from outside also get in.

Oh also my room has big windows which directly facing the streets so it’s very noisy. You can hear every vehicles and Tahu Bulat crossing although I’m in floor 3.

Also my window handles were broken so they sometimes got opened. I asked for them to fix it since the first day I got in but never fixed (I stayed for 6 months)

Bathroom floor was stained with watermarks that I complained about since the first day but they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Sink and shower head were also dirty but only when I complained about it they clean it a little.

Also the service for cleaning wasn’t excellent. The first week of Jan I returned to Andara only to find that my bathroom has a big hole and dirty with all of the plafond residues on the floor. My carpet was wet, my room floor was dirty & dusty. The floor has water marks. Apparently the pipe was leaking and they had a big flood on new year’s day so they need to come inside my room and fix things. But no one told me that they needed to entered my room?? Worse they left my room dirty without any courtesy of cleaning it until I had to asked 😭 They also didn’t clean my room a week when I was out of town.

Not great for a long stay. Not designed with enough storage for long term stay. I paid Rp 5++ million / month and it’s not worth it at all.

Laundry only 2pcs/ day and I got confused because they took very long to finish and take away my laundry basket. I wasn’t able to give my laundry for the next day. So I need to accumulate. In other 2 places, I got my laundry back on the same day with 4pcs/ day!

Location is near to MRT station through a small alley (not accessible by cars). You can walk but at night, you must pass the dark alley which is kinda scary but OK.

Conclusion: not worth your money, long stay isn’t recommended, single night might be ok if you got...

Tanggal 31 Desember 2024 datang pukul set 1an berdua dengan kids (usia 17bulan) buat checkin, dikarenakan Buna nya masih ada pasien. Parkiran yang sempit di basement hanya muat beberapa mobil, saat parkir tidak dibantu padahal ada staf Andara duduk disana. Naik keatas pakai tangga dikarenakan tidak ada lift cukup effort kalau sambil gendong balita. Request early checkin dg mba resepsionis namun tidak bisa, jika ttp ingin dikenakan charger sebesar Rp. 150rb. Karena tinggal kurang 1 jam lagi sebelum checkin saya memutuskan menunggu di lobby saja. Kids rewel karena lagi tumgi, tidak ada kompensasi dr pihak Andara untuk earlycheckin padahal disana sepertinya ada manager hostel tsb disana, cuma no respon melihat anak saya yang rewel dan menangis. Saya request dikamar tinggi, yang ada view dan samping2an (saya pesen kamar 2 dari bulan Oktober) namun jawab nya ada di lantai 3 dan kamar nya samping2an namun tidak ada view. Saya menyetujui! Ga begitu lama sekitar jam set 2 kurang ada 1 keluarga pesen 2 kamar, dan langsung memberikan akses ke kamar. Agak kesel sebenarnya karena saya dan kids nunggu dr tadi tidak dikasih kamar dluan. Ga begitu lama saya dipanggil tanpa minta maaf resepsionis nya "pak, kamar nya dilantai 2 ya tidak ada view dan tidak samping2an" karena saya sudah capek "oh yaudah". Di antar oleh staf ke kamar ternyata kamar saya belum siap masih di bersihkan, ga begitu lama staf nya "pak mau kamar ini ga? Ini sudah bersih" karena saya sudah capek "oh oke" masuk kamar, hidup AC, tiduran. Kids makin rewel ternyata tangan bentol2 digigitin nyamuk. Minta tolong disemprot namun nyamuk tetep masih ada. Saya datang kekamar yang sedang di bersihin oleh staf "mas nyamuk kok masih ada ya? Oiya ini kamar cahaya bagus (kamar yang dibersihkan) saya pindah kesini aja disana banyak nyamuk". Staf "pak, kalau ingin pindah bapak harus kebawah bicara dgn resepsionis". Saya "susah mas saya anak saya rewel" akhirnya saya ga jadi pindah kamar karena ribet!!!!! Sampai tengah malam masih ada nyamuk karena kita sudah capek dan kids tidur dikamar samping dengan kakak saya, jadi udah ga mempermasalahkan lagi. Kita checkout pukul 10 kurang, balikin akses dengan mas2 yang kemaren dipanggil bapak oleh semua staf (manager sepertinya) "bapak meninggalkan KTP kmrn ya?" Terus dia pergi ke atas cek kamar saya tanpa bicara tunggu sebentar. Trs ga begitu lama turun dengan senyum segan gitu dengan saya sambil mengembalikan KTP lagi2 tanpa berterimakasih, padahal saya sudah diujung ingin bicara teri... (Terimakasih) Tapi saya tidak melanjutkan karena dia hanya "ini pak KTP nya". Saya ingin mengeluarkan mobil tapi ada mobil pengunjung lain yang menghalangi, saya minta bantuan. Manager ini lagi yang mengeluarkan mobil tsb (tanpa bicara basa basi minta maaf) mobil tsb di arahin keluar oleh staf hostel ga begitu lama saya mengeluarkankan mobil saya. Namun staf tsb tidak inisiatif membantu dia hanya mematung di pinggir jalan depan gerbang basement. Oiya saat itu saya mendapatkan harga Rp 665ribu di 17 Oktober 2024 via traveloka. Hostel ini di booking dan dicari oleh kakak saya, karena akses kantor kakak dan istri saya tinggal jalan kaki. Kesimpulan : kamar banyak nyamuk

Tidak ramah kids (agak ribet dari basement harus naik tangga sempit ke lobby, tidak ada kids priority)

Parkiran sempit kurang leluasa buat keluar masuk dan harus rebutan

Manager dan staf pelayanan sangat buruk dan kurang sopan santun padahal para PENGUSAHA FnB BERLOMBA LOMBA MEMBERIKAN PELAYANAN YANG SANGAT PRIMA DAN BAIK SERTA HELPFUL MASAK KALAH DENGAN AIRNB YANG HANYA MENYEWAKAN APARTEMEN MILIK MEREKA TAPI MEMBERIKAN YANG TERBAIK!!!

Tidak akan balik lagi menginap disini, tidak recommended semoga kalian yang ingin menginap disini tidak merasakan hal yang sama seperti saya

Had a very pleasent stay in the heart of the city. they have a cozy coffeshop at the lobby with an affordable price yet good quality coffee. the room is cold and they are very responsive to our needs, you can text them through whatsApp should you need anything. but the best part of all is, the staff are VERY HONEST! i left my brand new phone after i checked-out in the room, i prepared for the worst scenario, but turns out they already took care of it and make sure that my phone is safe and sound at the receptionist. really appreciate the honesty of Mba Erni and the other staffs there. would definitely go back here for the cleanliness, friendliness, comfortable space and the safety they gave to...
