FRONTONE SYARIAH RESIDENCE MAMPANG — Hotel in Jakarta

I stayed here for 5 nights bathroom stink as hell water heater didnt work, already complained to the receptionist twice but they did nothing. wifi a bit slow. Then about the BBQ night. I told the receptionist that I want to joined the BBQ night then they just told me to pay directly to one of the employee but without being asked about name or phone number. Then at 7pm we decided to go to rooftop where the BBQ being held and no one told us about the term and condition about the BBQ. We waited for like 30 minutes and nothing is served on the BBQ place. At the end I have to asked the BBQ staff how this works. When I asked how many people that joined this BBQ they told me it was 5 people but when the BBQ time almost over its only me and my husband that was there. The staff who did the grilling process was so pissed when I ask whether he can grill more meats or not and gave me a stupid questions whether im sure I want more meat or not meanwhile I only took the meat ONE TIME and it was like a tiny portion for only one person. and the taste also was horrible. Overcooked and super dry, oily and just disgusting. I know the price was so cheap but at least they could do better with the service. But the guy with dark clothes who made us nasi goreng was the best. He was helpful...

Pros: clean, comfortable bed and sheets, water available, decent price.

Cons: the single business room didn’t have a sink and it was quite difficult to shower because of where the toilet is located (see picture). Anytime you want to wash your hands or brush your teeth you have to use the shower and get the bathroom floor all wet.

It is an extremely small room so there is no space for your luggage or clothes- you must lay them on the floor.

The mosque is insanely close so I was woken up every single morning at 4:30am. I really do not recommend this place if you are sensitive to noise. It was incredibly loud during prayer time. (See video from 4:30am)

I appreciate the cleanliness a lot but without a sink or anywhere to store your things it doesn’t feel manageable for very long. I would be curious to try other places nearby...

Affordable hotel but with smelly bathroom🤢

It’s my 2nd time staying here because it’s location and affordable price. This time I decided to stay in business room. The room is quite small, it’s dedicated only for sleeping, very limited space in the room. But compared to bunkbed hostel, it’s better, at least u still get privacy. Somehow the TV in my room is not working properly.

And here comes the negative review, the bathroom is soooo smelly because it’s drain pipe emits unpleasant odor. U have to cover your nose or hold your breath if u want to go to bathroom. The shower area and the sink also very small, it can give u instant claustrophobic. Your hands can easily hits into the wall because of it’s tight space.
