Unlike 50+ other hotels I had ever stayed in, this property was not being so much helpful when I requested to drop my bag earlier before check in hour. While I checked in, the reception was a 30+ yo man who sounded a bit arrogant. He spoke with the tone like the guest is beneath him. He didn’t even bother to tell the guest that he needed to hold the guest’s ID, he just straightly gave the key + directed the guest how to go to the room. So rude by assuming that the guest will automatically know everything without him telling the guest anything. Even when I asked about the ID, he just answered “retained.” instead of giving a better response + answer nicely like “sorry, I missed to inform you, you can have it back when you check out.” Is he the owner so he feels entitled with such attitude? he could’ve shown at least the bare minimum of being friendly to his guest. On the contrary, while I checked out, the reception was a young man who was very polite + he showed a very pleasant manner. There was a leak on the aircon, after it’s turned ON for 2 hours, the water drops keep falling down the floor. The water pressure of the spray gun was very high, it potentially hurt the guest. Couldn’t decrease the pressure because the shut off valve under the seat didn’t work. The mirror inside the bathroom is already old + dirty, never being maintained properly. You can barely see your own reflection. There are signs of smoking prohibition inside the guest room, but most of their operational staffs could care less + are disobedient. I had to asked 5 different staffs to not smoke near my room. Apparently, they think if they’re smoking 5 meters away from my room, the smoke will stay with them + could never go inside my room. You can barely walk back and forth beside your bed, because the position of the TV’s installation is lower, taking pretty much space at the area where normal...
Read moreHumble staff, enough parking area (in door complex) easy to get food around here and location that surounded by large business building including Government Buildings, Banks, TV Station (trans tv), hotels (5 star hotel, Mercure Hotel for example), apotek and more. Pertaining to the location of MK House Tendean it's unique, because it can't be seen from the streets. And the streets is also many ; main street, highway, regular, ring, tol, special path for 'big guy' like trans jakarta, damri etc., including "jalan layang" that means the street is above another street, even above you and many building here except the modern style building that somehow follow SSC (Stair Sky Concept) where it said; the higher is the best. Like they want to stab the sky, so, typically the building is the tower (in principle) and than they modified as well as needed without losing the strength. Well, I think it's a good idea to stay long enough, enjoying the "weather" I found here. To the people who are looking for standard (mini) hotel, perhaps this is the best choice. IDR 250 - 350k is the deal offered.👍 Remember, this is like the "rabbit surounded by tigers". One last thing that, in complex is quite, it's the opposite of the outside. Strange for me and definitely for all of you that gives a little bit attention.😎 Okey, for now that is all, see...
Read moreA very clean room with a queen size bed with a good mattress, 2 pillows, blanket, sheets, small writing desk and wardrobe.
All rental rooms have windows some rooms upstairs with better view though.
The bathroom is also very clean with soap, hot & cold water, western toilet, hand washing basin, mirror and a small window.
Polite and informative staff.
I only missed a water refill station since I always try to avoid single-use plastic bottles.
There is no restaurant or breakfast included but there are many street vendors right outside selling a big variety including chicken porridge, cakes and fresh fruit.
A good choice for a...
