Amaris Hotel Tendean Jakarta — Hotel in Jakarta

This is a very modest hotel that will welcome you warmly. A cup of coffee/tea will welcome you as you enter the hotel. You will then receive an email for activating free wifi account as you enter any of their hotel chain around Indonesia.

The room is fine. TV, drawer and SDB are inside. AC has no problem as well as the water heater. The toilet is rather spacious, quite shocking me actually. They also provide you with a water dispenser outside your room near the elevator.

The buffet breakfast was OK, taste just OK. They have several choices of breakfast.. There was rice with some vians. The toasted bread and fruits with some puddings are also there. The egg station is suprisingly there, too.

Though there were some problems when we stayed there. The parking lot is very very limited. The window screen was not working well as well as the SDB. The knobs for shower were also not in good shape, it was hard to learn how to switch to turn on or off.

This is a 3 out of 5 point hotel. It is worth your money as long as you want to elaborate if things are not working as...

We booked through Traveloka it costs IDR 1 million something for 3 nights once c/i every thing goes right. We share room for 3 peoples w/adds charge of breakfast costs IDR 150k/person/3 times. When we get into our room found only 2 baby bath towels and call reception for another one said we must pay 25k/towel/day, for this kind of small hotel they should not charge a towel also they never never refill tissue paper till we ask to it. After the housekeeping refresh the room they never make the room tidy. On the breakfast always got all the same, fruits, toast, chicken and tofu. When we ask the staff "what juices are they?" he said "MAYBE watermelon juice" what a surprise event the staff they do not know what food/drink they served for guests 😄peoples who want to stay at this hotel please please think twice the service was poor definitely need training for their staff, as well as this hotel located in the center of traffic jump, always take 1-2 hours if you want to go to Ambasador Mall. It was a pleasant to came back to Jakarta after so many years and stayed at Amaris Tendean hotel for the first time for 7 nights is kind worth, only one word to describe it just amazing. The hotel really following COVID protocols without it feeling too clinical. The room are comfortable and the sky light view from my window it’s just stunning,have cozy bed, wifi, clean bathrooms, I just feel like home. The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly specially mentioned to wirman for his attentive and sincere service, Yudi, Ary for their assistance and Ritshi for her good attitude and genuine smile, keep up the good work guys💪👍🏼✌️⭐️. |I also had the room service and the food was good.
