The location was quite strategic. It was near Jakarta’s Golden Triangle (central business, shopping centres, cafes, and traditional markets). It was also accessible by Transjakarta. ||2. The interior of the room took me back to the 90s. The cupboard, TV Desk, and work desk were made of blackwood, and there were several table lamps spreaded at every corner. The room was spacious. I booked a Deluxe Double Room. Unfortunately, dust was everywhere. You could even feel it glued into your skin, and breathe it into your precious lungs. It was so dirty all over the place. I also found some rubbish hidden inside the drawers. I found so many yellow spots and some holes on the linen and blanket. The bed itself was actually an attached-twin bed, and not a Queen/King size bed. The Air Conditioner was dirty and smelly. The Wifi wasn’t working and many TV channels had lost signal (I called a technician for help, but they didn’t come). I didn’t know why they needed to hide the refrigerator, coffee maker, glasses, teas, coffees, and sugars inside the drawer of the TV desk, which was so difficult to be found by the guests. The balcony was only made for the fan of the Air Conditioner, and the window couldn’t be opened, so I couldn’t enjoy the view there. ||3. The bathroom was so spacious. The sink was attached into a long marble desk. The hosed spray attached to the toilet flowed a low-power of water. The shower tube was so large (I could even lie down on the floor). But there were only hosed shower and rain shower, with no faucet. ||4. The restaurant was closed, maybe because of the pandemic and they hadn’t opened it yet in the New Normal Transition, so they didn’t serve breakfast of any kind. ||5. I checked-in into the hotel at 2PM, and I checked-out of the hotel at 4PM on the same day. I couldn’t imagine myself having a night and sleeping inside the dirty and smelly room. There were only a few of the hotel’s attendants, and they weren’t wearing uniforms. Perhaps, the hotel was knocked down by the pandemic, and they weren’t ready yet to reopen to the public (but in fact they did). It was a very unpleasant thing I’ve ever experienced in the hospitality industry, and I could assure myself and everyone to not have a night...
Read moreI'm not sure if this hotel deserves even 1 stars hotel status. Very Bad Hotel I do not recommend it even for cattle The room facilities was not maintained well. The carpet in the hotel corridors was very very dirty, with dust on every corner and spider web in the roof, and the hair is everywhere in the room and the bathroom the AC ether very cold or hot It seems that the sheets, pillow & blanket was not cleaned at all. The towel smelled so bad and very old even the color has been change it's not white anymore. I was scared to use the towels to be honest. And the wall of the room was so dirty like I don't even understand how it gets so dirty. and the cockroach in my room, not 1 or 2 many I stay for 3 night and I had to change 4 room because of cockroach and on top of that when I told the hotel manager about the cockroach he accused me that maybe I am the one who brings the cockroachs from the outside why would I do that. bad hotel and worst management ever I do not know how Agoda even add this hotel to their website If I could add photos to the review I will add and the worst thing is the response for Agoda customer support they did nothing to solve my issue I send them all the photos and...
Read more3/5 – Decent Location, But Several Frustrations
We chose this hotel mainly for its location—it’s close to our wedding venue, which was very convenient. We booked the Junior Suite, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable.
However, the service left a lot to be desired. We requested an extra bed on arrival and were charged for only one night. But throughout our stay, we felt like we were being chased about the second night’s extra bed charge, this is something that could have been easily handled at checkout.
Another issue: the room’s electricity went off every day at 12 PM due to the key card being programmed for only one day at a time, despite our multi-day booking. We had to repeatedly call for assistance to restore power.
The breakfast experience was also inconsistent. The omelet station wasn’t ready on one day, and the next, we were told to order directly from the kitchen. Despite placing a group order (6 omelets), they were still not prepared even after we finished eating.
Would we stay again? Probably only if we have another event nearby. Otherwise, we’d look for a more responsive and...
