Hi Hotel Senen — Hotel in Jakarta

I stayed at the hotel because it is very close to Pasar Senen Station, but I can’t find the direction to walk to the hotel. Especially in the midnight, it’s quite hard to find the way (you have to enter the market). Better and safer go there by GOJEK or GRABBIKE if you are planning to check in at midnight.

The bathroom and bedroom is quite clean and tidy, I really like it, but it has a bad smell (like a fog or old building). The air conditioner worked well but a little bit noisy. There’s no mineral water at the room, but you can get the water from the dispenser near the elevator.

There are cockroaches and insects like isopods in the room. The place feels a little run down with smears and stains on walls and furniture. Beds are comfortable however the rooms aren't sound proof meaning we can hear the traffic outside. I didn't have a good night's sleep as people would slam the doors as it doesn't close well. Also the alarm starts blaring if the door isn't closed well so imagine the alarms and door slams at 6 AM in the morning. The room isn't darkened so you always wake up with the first light.
