My rating is actually 3.5, 4 is way too much but fairly speaking, 3 is too low. It's an old hotel, i have stayed in better places within their price range, also worst ones, so this one is kind of in the middle: not that bad but not good either. We got room in 1st floor-courtesy of the receptionist who complied with my worries of staying too close to the rooftop (7th floor) where they have a live bar. We got non smoking room which had no smell of smoke. It's rather small, no place to put big luggage-i shoved mine under the bedside table. There were some orange-and-chocolate-ish stains on the sheets and pillowcases, one of the pillowcase had holes in it, but at least they smelled fresh. The location is great, right next to convenience stores, and food stalls, atm, & restaurants are within walking distance. Room lighting was good, even if they only used yellow lightbulbs, we could read books (and wear makeup) comfortably. The aircon was drippy, but stopped after we called engineering dept for the 2nd time. The sink and shower were probably clogged, it wasn't draining properly. The woods on the floor and doorframe are already chipped, still functional but aesthetically unpleasing. I would not recommend this hotel, mainly because of the sound leak. Our room had a connecting door, and we could hear our neighbor's tv; once i even thought my phone was vibrating when in fact it was the phone next door, lol. Their alarm went off at 7am and nobody turned it off for 15 mins until i was worried if they had died in their sleep. It woke my baby who started crying, maybe her cries finally woke them and they turn off the alarm. Yay they were alive! (I could hear doors opening along our corridor and people mumbling outside, probably also roused by the alarm). The next morning, we heard the exact same alarm at the exact same time, but this time coming from different room. I begin to wonder if the hotel discreetly woke the guests that way, lol. On the other side of our room, even without connecting door, we could hear them talking too. Not word by word, but we can clearly guess their genders and their activities. On the rooftop was a restaurant/bar with mezzanine level and outdoor swimming pool. The couches had cigarette holes in them, the floor have seen cleaner days, and the pool was not inviting: on the steps leading to the pool, there were glasses with leftover orange juice in it, already teeming with ants, cups of leftover tea or coffee, also attacked by ants. The staffs were nice, but i wish they could put more effort in the hygiene department. No towel nor life belt, so i suppose they weren't thinking of children at all. After all, having bar and DJ performance is actually screaming that this hotel's target customers are definitely not family oriented clients, right? I didn't know this until i get there, because i've read people saying this a good hotel for travelling with kids, but really, truthfully, i won't recommend this hotel if you're...
Read moreI didn't like my stay here. Stayed on a weekend. Check-in process took a while because there was only 1 staff on duty and he had to multitask. When I got to my room at around 6.30pm, I wanted to immediately take a shower but there was no towel in the bathroom. I called Housekeping and she said there were no dry towels available. How on earth?? She asked me to wait for a while and I asked how long, she said I should wait until 8pm. I said I couldn't wait that long because I had to go out at 7pm and she said she should ask her supervisor first. I ended up having to dry myself with my t-shirt and the towels were finally delivered to the room at 6.45pm. And while the bed was comfortable and all, I couldn't really sleep here due to the noise from a bar (not sure if it was their bar or another bar). The loud music went on until 3 in the morning. It was SO LOUD that the windows was trembling. The remixed songs were bad enough and the MC made it worse by singing along to them (and he didn't sing well). There were drunk teenagers shouting at each other and giggling in the hallway, I had to personally tell them to shut up, but they didn't shut up. I was very grumpy because I just wanted to rest. In the morning there was a person singing her heart out in the...
Read moreNice comfy simple room. Toiletries are available, clean bathroom and they have their own restaurant for easy dinning if you are lazy to go out. Breakfast also quite good, although it's more like Lunch but overall it's ok, ranging from cereal, porridge, nasi goreng, fish, meat, omelets, fruits, pudding, tea coffee, juice. The restaurant and bar at 7th floor, also called Lobbyn, have quite menu for Lunch and Dinner meals ranging from steak, pasta, nasi goreng, soup, salad, platters, juice, mocktail, cocktail and alcohols drink. Swimming pool at the rooftop also ok. The front liners are nice and friendly. Location's strategic: Lotte Supermarket and Happy Puppy karaoke at the front side, Circle K, McDonalds, Starbucks and others restaurant on the same street, even near to Lippo Mall Kemang around 1,3KM. Only that the street is too narrow as it's only for one way route and not friendly for pedestrian -no trotoar on almost the street. However, at night, the music sound from the Lobbyn could be heard (we were at the 3rd floor) even not too obvious and the AC in our room seemed to create noisy sounds. One thing, they must have forgotten to change the new bathroom mat when making up our room. Overall it's good and we're satisfied with...
