Big Brother Kemang — Restaurant in Jakarta

I never met front desk ladies that are so condescending to the customers. Terrible hospitality from terrible human character.

The policy of leaving name and phone number of each guest is just dumb, makes entry process so long and tiring. My suggestion for you future customers: leave random combination of alphabet and numbers to make the process faster and easier. They don't care anyways.

Try to ask the menu in before you enter. The music is so loud inside and you will waste so much energy screaming questions of why most of the menu is not available 🤔

Luckily, beer was cold and the security guards that were outside the entrance were sooooo nice. There's stark contract of being treated that nice outside the door and then horrid experience once you step in for few steps into the desk definitely alerting your senses to regret the decision to visit and a thought "we should probably just stay outside and have a chat with them about the bar's glowing lighbox".

We sat and stayed eventually just because we know one drink is always worth it, and oh boy, how s**t talking those front desk girls once our butts touched the chairs never feels...

Good place to hang out with friends all night long, good ambience, good band performance , quite cheap beer, quite nice food but: Waiters team r not responsive, we came at 7 pm while ot still only 3 tables of customer. There is a lot of waiter but when we came to order, the waiter wouldn't standby on our table, he go to the bar without asking permission while we still ask to order more. Undfriendly, the waiter ask us to move to other table because we (6ppl, waiting for 1 other friend) sit on the table for 8 person. While there is other customers, two other ppl sit on table for 4 person, and 3 ppl sit on table for 6 person Poor product knowledge No tissue serve when we ordered food, we should request first The other unresponsive thing is, when i order a glass of dark beer float, they didn't bring me a straw, and because it's a beer plus ice cream when i accidently stirred it, it flooded everywhere. When we ask for tissue, they take quite long time. (it still 8 pm)

Then after we order and order more , the waiters became more responsive n fast with big smile...

Pros: good live music especially if you’re into rock/alternative, service is fast, security is extremely friendly and the place has a nice neon design to it, really enjoyed the pizza, prices are of the Norm in Jakarta.

Cons: minimum order, the mixer with the bottle is very small, music is too loud so you can’t really talk, maximum table time. So many rules you can’t really relax and enjoy yourself.

And after buying two bottles, drinks and food you would think you can sit there and enjoy your night but they tell you to leave the table if you’re not going to consume anything else. This being told after 20 min we paid for the bill because most of our friends were leaving, I was going to order more food and drinks but didn’t expect to be thrown out of the table so quickly. At least they let us take the bottle with us because it was practically full.. We left on a sour note. Don’t think I’ll come again if I have to worry to constantly be buying things… Never happened to me in other...
