It was located in the middle of the citizen’s residential area, near Jl. HR. Rasuna Said as the main road. But it was surrounded by office buildings, shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, and also accessible by public transportation (TransJakarta & LRT). It was actually quite far from the main road, so you need to take a walk or hitchhike a ride to get there.||2. The room wasn’t quite big but spacious enough. I booked a Deluxe Room, but I got a free upgrade to the Executive Room which of course is bigger. Actually both types of the rooms are quite similar, the only difference is that the Executive Room has a single sofa at the corner of the room. There was a wall-size window that could be opened, which had a very tiny space without any view but a wall, perhaps it was made for smokers to smoke. Surprisingly, the room has a microwave to reheat your food. Unfortunately, the room was a bit unclean. I could feel the dust on the blanket and the linen. The Air Conditioner was not as cold as it was expected. ||3. The bathroom was on the right side of the door, and it was really small. The hose-spray attached to the toilet flew a high power of water. The shower tube was so small, and it was quite hard for me to move my body, especially when I needed to reach some difficult parts of my body to be cleaned. The hosed-shower was adjustable, but the wall and a glass door which separate the shower tube and the toilet & washbasin were only built three quarters, which made the toilet and washbasin got some splashes. Fortunately, The water heater was working as well. ||4. The breakfast was delivered to my room. Actually there was a restaurant at the top of the building but I wasn’t sure whether it also served breakfast for the hotel’s guests or it was only open for the public at night. I went to that rooftop restaurant to breathe some fresh air and taste some food. Well, the food was delicious but for the price it was a bit too expensive. ||5. All the staff were nice, polite, warm and very helpful. But I wasn’t sure whether I would have another night...
Read moreI lost my wallet containing 320 USD, credit cards, and driver’s license which I stored on top of the cabinet of Room 101 of Rasuna Icon Residence at around 10:30 in the morning of 2 September 2018.
Initially, I intended to secure the wallet inside the safe, however, the vault inside my room was faulty and failed to work despite repeated attempts. Thus, I was left with no recourse but to keep my wallet on top of my cabinet. To ensure that the hotel staff do not access my wallet, I did not request for a room make up.
I was thus surprised when I returned to my hotel room in the evening of the same date with my wallet nowhere in sight. Immediately, I brought the matter to the Management’s attention, through the front desk. I requested for the Manager, but to my disappointment, I was informed that the Manager will be available to entertain my complaint the following day.
At my instance, I requested the front office staff, to review the CCTV record to determine the persons who accessed my room. And indeed, as readily apparent from the footage, the housekeeper accessed the location of my room several times. This is despite the fact that I made no request for room make up.
Exercising prudence, I also reported the matter to the police for appropriate investigation. Unfortunately, during police investigation, the housekeeper/person-in-interest was never produced by your hotel. And, until I checkout out of your hotel last 3 September 2018, my complaint was never addressed nor the...

The Good: -there's a microwave in the room which is great for reheating food. -The hot water for shower is consistent. -The room is cleaned daily -They have all the OTT apps on TV e.g Netflix, HBO Go which you can use if you have an account. Although there's renovation happening now, you can't hear it from your room. Though would have been nice if they updated it on their website.
The Bad: There is a language barrier with most of the staff. If you don't speak bahasa, it's a bit tough to explain what you need. The cafe only opens at 1pm for lunch. Do not expect to get lunch here if you're hungry and hangry by 12pm There is no iron or ironing board. You'll need to pay for dry cleaning The hotel is on a road that feels unsafe upon walking out and there aren't may shops to see. If you're female, don't really recommend going out alone at night. I love to explore and after 1 night, I'm def staying in or taking a Gojek Bike out. Service is really bad. It is 10pm and I'm trying to get an empty tea cup to make hot tea at night but it is like asking for the moon. They'll say they are going to find you a tea cup, but...it's not happening. The likelihood of you washing your own Coca Cola cup from a McDonalds lunch is higher than getting an empty cup here.
For the price, find...
