Situated in a quaint corner of the city, this cozy cafe offers a delightful assortment of unique crunchy and fluffy blueberry Dutch pancakes, paired perfectly with a comforting coffee latte.
Upon entering the cafe, I was immediately charmed by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The aroma of freshly baked pancakes filled the air, whetting my appetite for the treat that awaited me. The menu was simple yet enticing, with a focus on their specialty - the Baby Dutch Pancakes.
Opting for the blueberry Dutch pancakes, I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation. The adorable, bite-sized pancakes were arranged artfully on a platter, garnished with a generous helping of fresh blueberries and a light dusting of powdered sugar. The first bite revealed the true essence of these pancakes - a beautiful fusion of crunchiness and fluffiness.
The unique crunchy texture was achieved through the clever addition of toasted almond flakes that adorned the surface of the pancakes. Each bite offered a delightful contrast between the soft, airy interior and the satisfying crunch of the almonds. The blueberries burst with natural sweetness, elevating the flavor profile of the pancakes and creating a heavenly combination of taste and texture.
What impressed me most was the balanced sweetness of the pancakes, which allowed the natural flavors of the blueberries to shine through without overwhelming the palate. It was evident that great care was taken to craft this pancake masterpiece, and it showcased the passion and dedication of the chefs in the kitchen.
Complementing the pancakes was a well-crafted coffee latte that rounded out the experience perfectly. The smooth, velvety texture of the latte was a testament to the cafe's commitment to quality beverages. Each sip was a comforting embrace, and the subtle notes of coffee intertwined seamlessly with the sweet undertones of the blueberry pancakes, creating a delightful...
Read moreFirst and foremost, they delivered exquisite service. I truly appreciate the staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menus.
They got plenty of tables inside, but limited seatings outdoor for us smokers. The place is also pet friendly, since I met many cute friendly pups during my visit.
Now, the food:
Beef stroganoff - beef was tender, nicely cooked buttery rice, and it looked soo pretty! But for us Indos who love masakan medok, you'd need to add more salt, pepper, and chilli flakes to satisfy our tastebuds.
Cheese rosti - the rosti was well cooked, with a generous amount of cheese on top. Enakk!
Blueberry pancake - looooooveeee! A perfect ending for today's lunch. The pancake, vanilla ice cream, and blueberry jam complimented each other nicely.
They got nice coffee too! Tasted kinda strong, but my stomach got no complaint.
Will definitely come back and suggest this place for anyone's looking for good pancakes and coffee...
Read moreThe place is nice altho a bit narrow. The Rosti are cute size, I meant, small. Tho it's considered expensive for price vs size, the size portion is good if u want to try more food.
Tenderloin Steak Rosti First time trying Rosti, it reminda me of hashbrown. It has sour cream and gravy on the side, love the gravy. Beef is easy to cut and chew, tender.
Beef Bacon N Egg Rosti Rosti is the same, bacon is standard beef bacon. I never eat American 'bacon', but for what I've known from watching comparison on YT, I guess it's more like 'bacon' in England or Japan than American.
Baby Dutch Pancake Pistachio We shared this, it has blueberry, raspberry and chocolate with pistachio as the topping. Very tasty, i prefer this over jiggly pancake because this one doesn't have egg smell and reminds me of Kue Sus. Love Kue Sus.
Iced Americano Very refreshing and...
