Being a living hotel means the concept is semi-apartment. Accor Plus benefits are provided, including free upgrades, free late check-out, free breakfast, and a welcome drink. While there's no lounge, they serve mini dinners or evening cocktails, free for Platinum members and above. Rooms are upgraded from studios to one-bedroom apartments (37 to 56 sq m). Entering the lower lobby, it feels luxurious, integrated with the Swissotel apartments. The upstairs lobby was a bit confusing because there were no signs, but fortunately, the staff were there to guide you. Check-in was quick, just fill out the form, and you're given the key. The owner is Japanese, so the interior is minimalist, with a Japanese Zen feel. Croquettes are provided as welcome amenities, and requests for a happy birthday cake are also accepted. Entering the room, at first glance, the interior is influence from Japanese style. This one-bedroom apartment has a pantry complete with an electric stove, exhaust fan, microwave, zinc refrigerator, and various tableware. There's a dining table with four chairs. The living room is carpeted, with a sofa, and a TV. The room is clean and comfortable. Although the sofa area is vinyl, it's carpeted. Tea is served using Dilmah, and coffee is served using capsules. The bedroom only has a bed, TV, and desk and chair. It feels compact and crowded because there's a lot of furniture, and the bathroom and living room are mostly occupied by space. The linens have Swissôtel's signature checkered pattern. The bedroom is carpeted, so it's comfortable and doesn't get cold on your feet. The desk and chair are also comfortable. Before entering the bathroom, there's a walk-in closet with ample storage space, perfect for long stays. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower, toilet, and washbasin with a long table. The design is typically modern and clean. There's a washing machine that can also do laundry but it can take up to 7 hours. Amenities are standard Swissôtel amenities. There are plenty of towels provided: 3 body towels, 3 hand towels, and 3 face towels. Facilities include a swimming pool, gym, and sauna. There's also a kids' pool. There's no kids' club yet. Hopefully, one will be added. Platinum members have refreshments every 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, but it's all-you-can-eat. The menu includes buttermilk chicken, truffle fries, mozzarella sticks, grilled beef bulgogi rice, and chicken snitzel. It's actually delicious, but the portions are quite small. But since it's free, you can't complain. Dessert includes cheesecake, fresh fruit, and ice cream. Breakfast is decent but not memorable. The selection is also limited for a Swissôtel, but they do offer breakfast sets: fried rice, fried noodles, or a Japanese set. The Japanese set consists of mackerel or salmon served with Japanese rice, natto, tamago, and miso soup. Menu: Cake, bread butter pudding, pastry, bread, fresh juice, yogurt, chilled juice, coffee Salad, cereal, nuts, dried fruit, fruit, cold cuts, cheese, mixed vegetables, potatoes, sausage Fried noodles, cayenne pepper, fried rice, chicken...
Read moreThis hotel provides a perfect stay right at the heart of Jakarta city. The staff are very professional and have to handle stressful traffic conditions especially when traffic is crazy during weekdays in the city. The staff battled through the tough and demanding traffic conditions to assist guests unload their luggage. Special Thanks to SUNARDI, TEGUH & CACA who have professionally handled the traffic, accordingly, brief me on every single Swissotel's history and hotel's features and facility.
The breakfast at the open buffet was excellent and very delicious. The Restaurante agents HARIO, JIA, NIAR, DINI with their smiling face & good personality. ALLEN & JOHAN nothing short of exquisite. From the beautifully curated menus to the stunning presentation, every bite reflects the mastery of your talented chef and kitchen team. The balance of flavors, creativity, and attention to detail turn dining here into an art form. Don’t forget, you have another beautiful gem on your team:
ALLEN! She brings not only a radiant presence but also a truly pulchritudinous heart for service. What sets her apart is the way she blends her core ingredients, especially her genuine enthusiasm, into everything SHE does. It’s that unwavering spirit & work ethic that makes Him truly exceptional.
Allen (please find her picture attached) was truly exceptional. She took note of my dietary restrictions, including my lactose intolerance, my preference to avoid fried foods, and my commitment to meeting my daily protein intake. She also noted my love for veggie juice. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's fabulous and healthy breakfast and she will pass her notes to the F&B team.
The room assigned on the upper floors had a very good view, it's city view was excellent & decorated by FAUZI &NABIL. The sunset was excellent every evening. The hotel and the room are very clean, and housekeeping performs their job well. I would like to thank Morrens & Vikky who always gave me a SMILE in the first step of the Swissotel area which is the concierge ground floor lobby, and I love them very much and also, I would like to thank all the staff very much who contributed working at the hotel.
Gym with Confidence is dang good to do here, unfortunately the treadmill machine is old and there is a digital screen to track my workout like my treadmill inside my house in Sydney, Techno with a huge entertainment screen. I realise that this property is still a baby brand new hotel, the only ISSUE is the WIFI connection, what a nightmare, please fix it in the future, because I need to do some work from my room.
Again, exceptional service and warm, friendly staff made my very special visit truly memorable. It was a business trip, but they also brightened my day as I was dealing with the recent loss of my mother. The special welcome drinks and the first-class ambience of the Swissôtel made a big difference. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and our stay was simply amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who made our time here...
