Beten Waru Restaurant & Bungalows — Hotel in Kecamatan Abang

Thia is a nice resort, but not very clean. The restaurant was closed they said under renovation but there is no renovation at all. The bathroom was wide but a bit dirty. The breakfast was big no. The staf need more improvment, since I'am a local tourist, we speak same language so it's should be a good communication, but always miscommunication. The view was amazing, but I arrived at the resort when it's raining, so the sea view not really good, but when it's sunny day it should be good. The pool was dirty, so I forbid my babies to swimming. The place was easy to find. If you gonna stay here, first you should trust the review, since there are many review other than mine. This is very bad experience for staying in hotel ever. When I was there, the room is very old. Some light aren't work. The air conditioning is not cool. The door is broken. A lot spot that somebody can stalk you by the big hole at the door. The locking system is poor. You need a strong arm to lock the door with the key. The bed is in poor quality. Bed sheet and towel is not in good condition plus smell. Hope you see this review and avoid this hotel. (I gave you picture of the most unaceptable door ever)

PS: I found out later that the bath room locking system is broken too. And the bath room is open air. It mean any one can get into my room while me and my girlfriend is sleeping...

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this negative review but it’s good to be honest especially with making other travelers aware. I found the staff except for 2 were very unfriendly especially the owner, his son who was based in Denpasar was pleasant. I had room 1: bathroom was not clean (Eg. Pic attached), the mattress needed replacing as it sloped in the middle and there were insects on cobwebs inside the mosquito net etc. I can’t attest to other room conditions. I paid same price as booking.com but direct and didn’t get breakfast but to be honest I looked at the kitchen and it was best I didn’t eat there. On the plus side, the pool was lovely and...
