☕️ This is my third time here and I give this place a chance every time because I see people here. I was here after opening, then few months, and now. But only the third time I liked the food.
🛋️The place is nice and cozy. Quite spacious. There aren't many people at lunchtime and it's nice to be here.
👤I can’t say that staff is very friendly. They don't say hello or say goodbye. They just take your order. When I ask, what would you recommend trying, answer was - everything 😂 great. I can't call it a big problem, but it spoils the overall atmosphere a bit.
🥗 The smoothie bowls are very sweet. For those with a real sweet tooth. I don't know if they contain sugar, honey or syrup. In other places, I find fruit bowls not so sweet. Maybe just my taste.
🍗 the wrap/roll are too simple. I can't say that they're not tasty. I just want more meat and a tastier sauce for this price. But in fact - a piece of chicken with a flatbread.
🍚 This time I took a bowl with rice and chicken. it's really tasty. chicken is very tender. rice with tasty spices. feta salad is not bad.
Definitely, i'm really disappointed and won't come back. Waiters and staff are so-so. food - we made mistakes several times. prices are above average for a nice cafe. It was my last time here. So sad, coz place looks...
Read moreJust around the corner from me, so had hoped this could become my ‘local’ cafe.
Music always too loud to hear friends talk. We have asked it to be turned down twice, to no effect. To loud to concentrate on work as well.
Prices are crazy for this area of Bukit. With service and 11% tax (tax levied on a restaurant business is 10% in Bali so I doubt they have been singled out for an extra 1%).
53k for a coffee! A fresh orange juice nearly 100k? If these were amazing stand out drinks…well maybe? But this is an okay coffee nothing special, so why nearly twice the cost of other nice cafes locally?
Croissant at 30k was dry. Eggs Benedict - undercooked eggs. Mentioned this to staff but this elicited no reaction beyond a smile.
Interior is well done, so a nice place to sit. Interesting view of construction over the back.
Would like to visit more but the environment doesn’t outweigh the expense. I often visit the Bvlgari and I pay more for coffee there (100k) but there it comes with a range snacks, amazing service, ocean views…. Oku actually makes Bvlgari seem good value!
Spoke to a couple of neighbours and the general view is nice place but...

My wife and kids stopped here for lunch the other day and came home telling me we had to go back.
Today we did… they were right it’s awesome. It’s cool. It’s super clean. Very accommodating from the moment you approach the door and the important bit, the food and drink were awesome!
Kids had pizzas which I enquired as to whether they do takeaways as soon as they were out on the table as I knew I would be back!
My wife had the Salmon rice bowl which was beautifully done and very tasty and I had the bacon & avo burger which came with truffle chips (which I love!!!) We also ordered a side of edamame beans which had the most amazing sweet sticky teriyaki (I think?) like jam.
Ah man, can you tell we enjoyed it.
I only do honest reviews, so I will say it’s a not a place we can afford to eat everyday (but it is still totally reasonable and if you’re a tourist on your holiday/vacation you could) but what a great place for us to be able to get take out pizzas, weekend meals and treat nights!
Well done guys and...
