Starbucks Coffee GWK Bali — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Visited on 30 November and it had just been opened for 2 days. Nice cafe on 2 floors, with warm and welcoming staff. Totally empty. I was jogging by in the open park and decided to check it out. If you don't have a ticket to the GWK inside area, you will be stopped and interrogated by security at every turn (even though Starbucks, together with the foodcourt and a few other restos, are all outside the "paid area"). There are many security personnel hanging around and they order you around as if you are up to no good. Unless you have a park ticket, no point visiting this Starbucks especially if trying to meet friends as everyone will have a headache getting in. 2 stars because of this, otherwise I would have no hesitation...

one of the worst service of starbucks branch, when i asked 'Brew Coffee' which is a hot manually brew, the baristas instead offer me hot americano, when i asked the second time 'Brew Coffee' again he replied, they dont serve here, and he offered 'Cold Brewed Coffee', i dont know if they apply different policy here that does not allow customer to ask for 'Brew Coffee' or the barista does not have enough knowledge, such a poor...

This one star review only because of its location. If u wanna go there to grab some coffee - u have to go through all the park OR you can park your bike in 1.5km away and go by foot uphill. Security near the entrance won’t let you leave your bike for 5 minutes anywhere. So keep in mind, maybe it’s better to spend 5 minutes and get to the next Starbucks, than walking 40 mins to...
