Prasana Villas by Arjani Resorts — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

We spent our honeymoon at Prasana and it was outstanding. We had the best holiday of our lives and fell in love with the staff and the hotel. If you want to know what pampering and service means, you should definitely go on holiday there. We felt very much at home from day one. The staff are really very nice, very courteous and really lovely people who have their hearts in the right place. We will be back, that's a promise. ❤️ We spent 2 weeks in the Ocean View Villa. We were greeted very warmly with a very tasty homemade drink and our suitcases were carried into the villa. Once we were in the villa, the first surprise: rose petals everywhere and towels shaped like swans. The view of the ocean was a dream. Every morning you could enjoy the sunrise from your bed facing the sea. The private pool is large and also deep, so you are up to your neck in the water. 🏊 Every afternoon we were surprised with delicious little French pastries from the chef 😋😋😋 The food and the menu were excellent. The staff responded to all our requests without hesitation and conjured up everything for us. We booked all inclusive and got all inclusive. The drinks and food were really very good and above European standards. I have eaten pasta in Italy and in the best restaurants in Berlin, but never pasta as good as in this hotel. The desserts were also just fantastic. We drank the best coffee in our lives here, now every coffee at home seems like a broth to me.

Everything in the hotel is made with a lot of effort and love. ❤️

I have been to many hotels in my life for professional reasons and have also been on holiday in various 5 star hotels, but here you can expect more than a 5 star hotel. The hotel owner comes up to you personally and at eye level and asks if everything is ok and has a chat, what more could you want to feel valued. ☺️

The location of the hotel is also very good, with the hotel's own shuttle to Bali's most beautiful beaches less than 10 minutes away. You can also party in Bali's best clubs in the neighbourhood. If you want to experience the city centre, you have to reckon with a 1 to 1.5 hour drive at prime time, but to be honest there is nothing worth mentioning there. A tour of Ubud is also a good way to spend a full day in the north-east of the island. The south of Bali is perfect for enjoying your holiday. The staff are also very helpful in planning the day and give very good tips.

The hotel's facilities and concept are ideally tailored to the personal care of guests. There is no mass tourism, as the complex consists of the villas and a main building with restaurant, terrace, bar and spa and no other guest rooms.

We’d read a few reviews before our stay, so we knew to expect the rather bumpy, unmade road leading up to the resort. It’s quite surreal winding your way up such a badly broken-up track and then suddenly arriving at the most stunning, contemporary resort perched on top of the hill. The contrast makes the arrival feel even more special.||From the moment we stepped out, we were struck by how beautifully designed and upmarket the resort feels. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we were quickly shown to our villa, which was close to the entrance and came with breathtaking views across the region and out to the sea. Walking up the steps and seeing our private little oasis revealed was a moment we won’t forget.||The villa was exceptional. Outside, we had our own infinity pool, a seating area, and an outdoor kitchen — perfect for relaxing in privacy. Inside, the space opened into a huge bedroom with a wonderfully soft bed, a table and chairs, a large TV, and controls for all the lighting. There was also a massive dressing area and bathroom, which led through to a stylish shower and out to a private outdoor bathtub. It was a really impressive setup that gave us everything we needed for a luxurious stay. A small quirk was the sheer number of light switches scattered around — even after four days we never quite worked out which switch controlled which light, and it seemed to change daily! The air conditioning kept the villa nice and cool, though it was a little noisy at times and might benefit from some fine-tuning.||The on-site restaurant was excellent, with a good variety of dishes in the evening and a superb breakfast each morning. The breakfast burrito was a particular highlight. Our stay also included a car service for short, local trips — which was a great bonus and very convenient for popping to nearby beach clubs. The resort’s location really is perfect — close to several excellent beach clubs and ideal as a base for exploring Uluwatu.||That said, there were a few small touches that didn’t quite match the otherwise very high standard the resort is aiming for. For example, we noticed a little rust on one of the outdoor sofa legs, and the coffee sachets weren’t replaced unless we specifically requested them. Similarly, we sometimes had to ask more than once for simple items like milk or ice, and oddly, our kitchen didn’t come with glassware. These are not major issues, but they stood out slightly against the otherwise polished experience.||Overall, Prasana by Arjani Resort is a beautiful, contemporary retreat with spectacular villas, a great restaurant, and the friendliest staff. It is already an exceptional hotel, but with a little more attention to these finer details, it could truly reach...

A Memorable Getaway at Prasana Villas by Arjani Resorts, Bali

We recently booked a holiday for six families with children at Prasana Villas by Arjani Resorts in Bali, and I must say, it was one of the most unforgettable and heartwarming experiences we've had.

Tucked away in a quiet, secluded part of Bali, the approach road may seem a bit rough, but once you enter the resort premises, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. The lush greenery, serene surroundings, and beautifully designed villas offer a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.

What truly set this resort apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. A special shout-out to the kitchen service team—Devi, Agas, Selly, Wanda, Eka, and others—whose patience and warmth made managing meals for a group of energetic children seem effortless. Despite the dynamic nature of our group, with frequent order changes and table switches, they handled everything with a smile.

The cooks also deserve praise for their willingness to accommodate our special dietary requests and personalize dishes—all without charging anything extra. Their delicious spread of local cuisine, combined with this level of flexibility, made us feel truly pampered.

The massage team was another highlight—calm, professional, and clearly experienced. Their services left us feeling refreshed and relaxed. Housekeeping was consistently prompt and thorough, with rooms tidied up every afternoon and thoughtful touches like complimentary fruits and pastries delivered each morning.

An added bonus was the free shuttle service offered to nearby local markets and beaches, making exploration convenient and stress-free.

A heartfelt thank you to Eka, the manager, who stood out for his proactive attitude. He listened attentively to feedback and, to our surprise, implemented suggestions almost immediately—something we rarely see at hospitality venues. His leadership reflects in the seamless functioning and genuine warmth that defines Prasana Villas.

We started missing the staff the moment we checked out. It was truly a mind-blowing experience, and we’re grateful to the entire team for making our stay so special and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly luxury...
