Hair treatment definitely not worth the price The treatment is advertised as a “water healing head spa,” but in reality, it’s mostly just water being sprayed over your head. There was very minimal massage or any other real treatment involved. After nearly an hour of having my hair sprayed with water, I asked how much longer it would go on, and was told “five more minutes.” A sheet mask was also included — but honestly, everything could’ve easily been done with a tap and a mask in our villa. The cost was 1,330,000 IDR (L’Oréal) or 1,780,000 Kerastase plus 21% tax, which simply isn’t justified. What I received didn’t match the treatment description at all. You’ll get far better value — including a proper massage or express facial — just across the road. That said, the therapist was lovely. It’s not her fault — she just needs better training, or the treatment menu needs to be updated to reflect what’s actually offered.

I recently stayed at the Grand Mirage in Bali and decided to treat myself to a massage at the Thalasso Spa after a day of water sports. Booking the appointment was a breeze through the room phone, and I appreciated that the prices were in local currency (rupiah). Upon arrival, I was welcomed with refreshing ginger and lemon-infused water, which set a relaxing tone. After filling out a brief form, I was taken to a private area where my massage began with a heavenly foot scrub—after a 25-hour flight, it was pure bliss! My masseuse, Astinti, was fantastic. She gave me a deep tissue massage that really targeted those stubborn knots in my back. I was so relaxed that I even dozed off at one point! Overall, it was an incredible experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind in Bali.

I had the lymphatic message I did not expect that it would be the identical massage you get on the street for $10 I expected a spa experience instead I was taken to a vacant hotel room with a bed in it and payed $130 Aussie dollars to get what I could have got on the street when I made my experience to them known I was not happy the best they would do is 20% discount Avoid. Go to uma on the street they do the exact same thing This is the room they took us to it was no spa experience

The Spa building and rooms are clean and inviting, but the massage treatment itself was very awkward!! We had a couples massage booked and were really looking forward to it! Unfortunately the experience we had was not great at all! Firstly we were asked to undress by the 2 masseuses, which is fair enough BUT they did not vacate the room and instead watched as we undressed! Then continued to watch while we got onto the massage tables! This felt so awkward! The massage was okay but not fantastic. At the end of the session, they basically yanked us both up as soon as they had ended, told us the massage was over and then preceeded to watch us getting dressed!! I have never ever experienced this before and I have regular massages. After watching us dress, they showed us the door and basically guided us all the way to the front door! There was no offer of a drink at the end, which is what most reputable massage salons offer their clients. We left the spa feeling very akward and actually not at all relaxed and zen like as you would expect after a massage. We feel the staff really need training so that future clients will get a better experience. Perhaps due to the pandemic, the new staff are not aware of what is expected at a spa. Hopefully this will be rectified...
