Chopstick Chinese Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

We felt like a good Chinese meal ( we are a big fan) and saw this restaurant as we were checking out what was close to our hotel. Thankfully we didn’t read any reviews otherwise we would not have gone there. The place is upstairs - very well appointed, clean and nice ambiance. We ordered the corn and crab soup, kampong chicken, roast duck, seafood and vegetables fried rice with egg and a broccoli dish. All small sizes which was perfect for the 3 of us. We also had 2 gin and tonics and our daughter had a strawberry sofa drink and they were great- much better than others we’d had locally. We loved every dish. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The service was top-notch, our server was very attentive and friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and making excellent recommendations. Unfortunately we got caught up in this restaurant reopening and after over 1 hour of waiting for our food (with less than a packed restaurant) we had only received 1 plate of spring rolls after complaining once after 45 mins. We ended up walking out after 8:30pm (over an hour) as no more food had come and we had 4 kids waiting to eat. We had been here pre COViD and was great but will not be back. Needs to sort their kitchen out as lots of tables waiting for food. We received an apology but still spent $50 on drinks + 1 plate of spring rolls with no discount for the obvious inconvenience.
