Check the time before your massage!

Normally not one to look at the time before our massages but randomly I asked my partner what time it was before ours started so we kinda knew. When we finished I walked out and my partner had already paid but he asked me, was that an hour? In my mind at the time all I thought of was my masseuse was no good, no pressure, was just touching me but Anyway, I pulled out my phone and saw the time and thought, wow it's only been about 40 minutes (when we asked for the 1hr) and so now I understood why my partner and my cousin were clarifying with them - They were adamant they were right and that it'd been an hour and normally if I hadn't check the time prior I would probably have nothing to go by, but we both remember what time he told me before it started

They were not unapologetic, didn't allow room for error on their part, when there was the three of us who were all aware of the time, especially as my partner and cousin had access to their phone during their back massages - and it was because it was not just a 5-10min cut short, it was 20mins or even a bit more than that

Oh and side note, it is a spa and salon - So while the massages were happening and youre trying to relax, you may hear hair dryer going on outside

If you do end up choosing Ayu Dewi just be mindful of the time they start your massage and be prepared for hair services/chit chat...

I came here for waxing and massage and pedicure, the lady who was doing my waxing had no idea how to do waxing. She was constantly dripping hot wax on me while applying. She was not skilled enough to deal with loose skin and just pulled the strip without holding the skin tight. I got bruises all over my inner thighs. My underarms are literally burnt. During the process of waxing I asked the lady so many times, if she has been trained and she said yes she always does it since 5.5 years. Long story short I came out with peeled skin and bruises all over my legs and hands. Not to forget, I had to literally show her the patches where she had forgotten to wax which where like every where, even with spotlight on she couldn’t see the visible hairs and conviniently chose to ignore them and move on until I insisted her to wax there. After all this she charged me $100 AUD for full legs, full arms and underarms (took her hour and half to do the job) . The catch here is they don’t have the rates mentioned in their so called menu card and charge as per their will and wish. I would highly recommend people to avoid this place. There are many places around, please don’t go here. Their massages are below average, I got my pedicure done thinking it would be great but the gel colour that they applied came off in a day...

We tried giving this place a shot several times, and all we met was unfriendliness, nonchalantness and general lack of interest in serving customers. The last time we tried getting a massage was when an irritated staff member came to tell us that they were already closed. We politely indicated to the fact that the sign on the door said 11:00 pm, she responded that they had switched their closing time to 10:00 pm. When we indicated that it was 9:15 pm, she rolled her eyes and said something to the effect of “Okay, but just for 30 minutes “. Obviously, by that time it was clear that we wouldn’t want to give them our business and we’d recommend others to stay away from this place, too. It actually deserves 0 stars… Oh, and did we mention that their prices are exactly double of what you could...
