Dear staffers at Best Western Kuta Beach,

Terima kasih banyak - (thank u very much) for your warmhearted hospitality, kindness, helpfulness and your smiles - (not saying you need to be happy all the time - we’re all human - lol:)

My best friend and I had, and are still having a delightful and soulful experience here at your hotel.... We’ve had generous and pleasant interactions with several staff members, namely lovely Juni, Paul, and Dwi Jaya - Also, the little note left on our bed after it was cleaned by Amanda & Degus was a lovely touch to the service - thanku..

Since we’ve been staying here, there have also been several staffers that are trainees and even though we don’t know your names - your service, too, has been of a very high standard, so thank u all - cleaning staff, desk staff, security staff, and all other:) Oh yes, and I mustn’t forget to mention, I really enjoyed the omelettes freshly cooked at breakfast by the wonderful, young chef’s .... The buffet breakfast is delicious and the variety of Indonesian cuisine and western cuisine is great, especially since the chefs try to vary the menu with certain dishes on a daily basis - thank u kitchen staff.

In regards to other things - the hotel is superbly located a stones throw away from the beach ....

Watching the sunset over Kuta beach from the rooftop that also accommodates a lovely swimming pool for a little “water therapy” is cool 😎.

Transport is ubiquitous in the area....

There’s lots of shopping possibilities around if that’s your thing, including street markets that offer a huge variety of products the Beachwalk Shopping Mall, and plenty of minimarts that also have ATMs - very handy:))

To finish, as someone that is fairly well travelled, I’d definitely give my experience here at the Best Western 10/10 (5 stars). Am I saying it is perfect.... no .... but that’s because in my heartfelt opinion, there is no “perfect” place or perfect human being - life is a work in progress (if u get what I mean), but the openness, willingness, warmth and enthusiasm to grow and improve even after having already achieved a great standard of hospitality is something that I personally hold in high regards. I don’t often write reviews like this but this time I felt very much drawn to. 🙏🏾💙😊 Terima kasih banyak .... Oh yes... lol ... and the WiFi and choice of tv stations is cool, too... :))))

Overall, had a good stay here at Kuta Beach Hotel and would recommend it for the budget, value minded traveler who doesn't have too many demands.

The location is down a small alleyway where only 1 car can fit. The road is tiny even by Bali standards so some care needs to be taken when walking to and from but no one is speeding so it still felt safe.

The hotel is nice for the price compared to others around the area. A definite value in a sea of hotels. For the price, cannot be beat.

We arrived super early at 12:00 PM noon and was planning to ask if we can drop off our luggage but they were so kind to let us check-in and go into our room since they had one already available! I really appreciated this! Thanks!

The rooms are a good size and included a desk so I can work. The desk didn't block the beds or the TV. There were free water bottles and a working mini-fridge. The only negative was that there is a strong "wet" smell when entering the room. I believe it has to do with the restroom being right by the door and with no air circulation when no one is in the room, the odor will persist. However, once turning on the A/C, the smell slowly disappeared. This "wet" smell was persistent in all the rooms I checked out when trying to find a colder room and quickly dissipated as the air conditioners were turned on to circulate the air.

Our first room had some minor A/C issues where it did not cool below 24 degrees but the staff was very understanding and changed my room to one that blew down to 16 degrees. I'm from a colder region so I definitely needed the cold A/C. Great service from the team for understanding and helping me find a room that blew colder!

The breakfast buffet was lacking. If you choose to stay here, I would skip adding the breakfast option and go out somewhere else. Unless you're not a picky eater, then they do have basics like fried rice, fried noodles, hot dogs, fried potatoes, and some mediocre pastries. The star that stands out is the egg station where you can have the staff cook you an egg dish any way you'd like. My scrambled eggs with toppings and later a poached egg were both made perfectly!

Overall a great stay close to the beach. Highly recommended for a no frills, valuable...

I stayed for 2 weeks from 7-21 Nov 2024. It was rainy season in Bali.

This place is a hidden gem. Kuta Beach is only some steps away. The beautiful Beachwalk Mall is easy to reach on foot. Airport is not that far off by motor or car, without much traffic jams in between.

The staff is courteous and prompt. Tips: If you`re nice, they will be even nicer to you.

The rooms have some variations. Some don`t have outside view at all.

BUT, I was allocated a room with a direct view to Kuta Beach and on the highest guest room floor (4th floor). I worked a lot in room so it was really nice to have a magnificent view with just turning my head away from the desk. Be it rain and storm, or clear sky, I was able to enjoy them peacefully from my room.

The bed hardness is not to my liking, albeit from a famous brand and rather an expensive product. But I can live with it.

Breakfast was descent. During my stay, I had 2 bfast buffet because there was plenty of options in the area.

I ordered many room service to my room and to pool side. The option was plenty and all was delicous and and properly priced.

The swimming pool is located on the roof top, with a direct view to the sea. I experienced nice sunsets and soiree by the pool. My photos serve as a testimony. This is probably the highlight during my stay.

I wish they stationed the treadmill in the cafe by the pool. I dont particularly enjoy using treadmill in the room far off at the back room.
