Hotel Lusa — Hotel in Kuta

Since it became really hard to find one of the old and nice places with the traditional Bali style rooms in the Kuta area, Hotel Lusa is like an island of peace in the mess of much too busy Kuta with all these new expensive and ugly wanna-be-fancy hotels.||||The rooms are big and clean, the terraces also nice and spacious, there are beautiful flowers and trees with birds, bats and squirrels around the bungalows.||||The pool is nice (but maybe needs some renovation), you can easily park your car or motorbike and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is perfect, the breakfast is OK and you walk just 3 minutes to the beach. Outside the hotel is a bus that serves Italian espresso, a small supermarket and a bottle shop for alcoholic beverages is...

we stayed here in August 2019, what a lovely friendly place to stay, we had a unit around the pool area, which was just fantastic, rooms recently renovated so very clean, these units have a lovely sized verandah so makes sitting out side enjoying the beautiful day a very pleasant experience, the staff are all very friendly and nothing is a problem. met some other lovely aussies around the pool, all very friendly, so close to get to the beach and some very nice cafes outside in the street.||would recommend staying here for good old traditional Bali style and service.||Ps: we just walked in off the street and they went out there way to get us booked into a room, thank you so much to the beautiful staff at...

Fantastic original Bali hotel , quiet family run & close to the beach. Great value for money with lots of different types of rooms . Pool , breakfast included and friendly staff. Discounts are offered for long time stay guests Wayan is the boss at the front and makes the call on most things. Yoman is the massage girl by the pool and after 20 years of visiting really does give the best massage in town. For a very reasonable price . In 2017 they were reforming all there bungalows to a very high standard so we would expect it to be super good to stay here in 2018. Hotel Lusa has been our winter home for more than 20 years and we hope it will be for about her 20 . Thanks folks for being our second family...
