13/01/23- Breakfast 11.00am Pot of Earl Grey Tea Poached Eggs Hollandaise Sauce Long Machiatto $125-$150k

Positive: Ambience, DJ music, Decor. Staff Uniforms Interior and Layout is what attracted me to this place.

Negatives; Unfortunstely the staff have little to poor english and are untrained and it shows very clearly. Not bringing cutlery with a customer's meal or a teaspoon with a customer's coffee is evident of that. Not a once off as it was happening to other customers around me. A more mature manager that is capable of showing leadership and is able to train staff and address customers complaints accordingly instead of ignoring them would make a perfect start.

The food was of poor quality, cold and tastless. A couple of damp pieces of white bread, with overcooked poched eggs and a an extremely oversized portion of cold hollandaise for $115k idr.

Coffee is not of good quality and was cold, as if the milk was not heated before being poured and was made incorrectly.

Tea, Just a teabag in a pot withh hot water, no room for error.

1st day the wait was 30 mins which is ok as this happens. Being a guest I asked if they could bring it to my room but they said id have to come down and pick it up. Food was quick and was good when it came.

2nd day I ordered the coconut yoghurt bowl. The couple sat down next to me 10 minutes later and one ordered this. It came 10 mins later so they forgot my order. I left after having been seated for 35 minutes. They offered me a free croissant but still had to pay for the coffee. Disappointing.

Overall if you're staying at the hotel I would eat somewhere else. Lovely people but forgetting an order is pretty poor and as a hotel guest having to wait 30 minutes to get a seat and not have the option of them bringing it up to your room isn't ideal. It looks very new so im sure they will improve. A few mixed reviews of the less than 20 they have already so...

I had an amazing stay at Mamako Hotel! Everything was simply perfect — from the beautiful design of the hotel itself to the outstanding service throughout. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing.

The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. A special thank you to the restaurant team for their attentive service!

I’d also like to mention Yeni, who served us during our meals. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. Her warm attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. She truly deserves recognition for her excellent service!
