Rabasta Enjoy Kuta — Hotel in Kuta

First the negatives. Place is tucked away in a fairly run down corner. The room was shockingly small, especially the bathroom. The bathroom feels like it's half the size it should be. Taking a shower was challenging, used the toilet cover as a shelf. I am used to having a work desk, there wasn't space for one. In general the room is okay for a single person for a short stay. For two it gets a little crowded. The TV was small and the screen was warped, but it's okay as who watches TV anymore? The pool, while inviting looking, is also small and could have been better maintained, my friend was rather unhappy about that. When it came to housekeeping, they never replaced the coffee, tea and water, and soap. Except for one day. Go figure.

Plus was there was a balcony or courtyard for every room, enough for two chairs and a side table. I thought there was a restaurant but there isn't, instead they do provide three breakfast choices from 9am, which is useful as the shops and warungs don't open until around 10.30. They also provide massage and mani / pedi, though of course hotel rates are higher. Also the hotel is actually walkable to the airport, if you are a light traveler.

The grounds are lovely! Unexpected was an event space that could be a restaurant, sits maybe 30 max. There was a choir rehearsal there one evening, how nice! Plus a long table elsewhere that could be ideal for a meeting or a meal, for maybe up to a dozen. The rooms are nestled in quite delightful landscaping, pretty good for a little stroll. The best for me was a small space of three tables overlooking the pool. Good place to have your meals or do some work; WiFi was pretty decent throughout.

The location of the hotel is very good. 100m from the main shopping street, which makes it 200m to the beach, if you can find an entrance. Around the corner along the way there are a few warungs, not bad places for some local food. Several mini marts nearby, if early or late, there's a Circle K that does hot food like paos, burgers and hotdogs at maybe 150m.

Overall verdict? Kinda hits and misses but the biggest miss would be the tiny rooms and especially that tinier bathroom. I might be happy with a bigger room which they have I think, but then housekeeping is inconsistent. In the end, I'll pick another hotel next time. So many...

My experience at this hostel if can be called that was absolutely disgraceful. From start to finish, it was riddled with incompetence, unethical practices, and outright fraud.

Upon arrival, I was told that the room I had booked and paid for was “not available.” This was clearly a deceptive tactic to force me into paying for a more expensive room. It’s evident this is their way of avoiding paying commission bookings made through their partners.

The staff’s incompetence was glaring—most couldn’t speak basic English, and the manager had to be called in for the simplest matters as he was the only one capable of communicating. The harassment over check-out time was ridiculous: I received a 9 a.m. call reminding me of the 12 p.m. check-out, followed by someone physically coming to my door to repeat the same thing within 20 minutes.

To make matters worse, the hotel is located in a dark, unsafe alley, making it feel incredibly dangerous and unwelcoming.

The nightmare didn’t stop after the stay. Despite canceling the booking, I’ve been waiting over 41 days for a refund. Both the hotel and Agoda have failed to resolve this issue. The hotel is refusing to issue the refund and demanding unnecessary personal bank information, which is a blatant invasion of privacy. They are unable to track the refund status and have displayed no intention of taking responsibility for their fraudulent actions.

As a result, we are now in the process of contacting relevant authorities, consumer protection agencies, and the police to file a formal complaint about this fraudulent behavior.

Have to give the lowest rate due to my experience. Its not related to the room or staff itself.

The property and the rooms itself are clean and Look fresh renovated. It was a walk in booking so can Only Review here but Not in booking com.

When I checked in into the room all was good and fresh. In the middle of the night i woke up from a horrible from The bathroom. Might have come from the shower drain. Couldnt sleep the Whole night and was placing my complaint directly next early morning. The room boy came to Check. He entered the bath and Hardly could breathe. He was letting water running for like 20min from the shower... Got bit better. Wanted to extend my Stay and was willing to change the room. Unfortunately they couldnt give me the same room in annother building. Only in same building but it doesnt make sense since all bathroom are connected. I was so disgusted from the small and i didnt get more than a sorry. I asked for compensation but there wasnt a big will. Just food from their Restaurant, but nothing Veggie, so out of discussion. Or a free airport drop which is less worth than 50k and i didnt even Plan to leave yet. They asked me to book the suit for double the price but they were hesitating to give me an Upgrade instead.
