❌ Unprofessional establishment – booking error, refusal of service, and poor communication

✅ Specific requests at the time of booking: – Quiet room – High floor – Fan, so as not to use the air conditioning – Temporary luggage storage service, so I could leave my belongings there for a few days while I visited the island

📲 Interactions with the hotel: – I booked a double room, but when I contacted them for details about the services, they responded as if I had booked a dorm bed → It's a good thing I asked, because I would have been left without a double room upon arrival. They didn't check anything. – After correcting their error, I was informed that the only two double rooms were on the ground floor, without fans, and only with air conditioning. – I then repeatedly insisted on obtaining information about their luggage storage service, which was essential for me. → But they deliberately ignored my request, preferring to insist that I subscribe to their valet parking service from the airport, a paid and expensive service. → This behavior suggests that they do not actually offer luggage storage, or that they are deliberately refusing to discuss it.

⚠️ Inconsistencies and questionable behavior: – Error in the reservation (dormitory instead of a double room) – Refusal to provide a simple fan – No answer to essential questions, such as luggage storage – Excessive insistence on paid services (airport transfer), without answering the rest – Their transport rates are much more expensive than those offered by specialized apps Local → All this paints a misleading and opportunistic picture – The ad seems embellished, and probably misleading about certain services

🚫 Cancellation of the reservation: I canceled after noticing the accumulation of negative signals, basic errors, and the total lack of professionalism in the communication.

📉 Conclusion: If I hadn't taken the initiative to contact them, I would have ended up in a dormitory, even though I had booked a double room. No respect for requests, no clarity about the services advertised, no transparency, and management focused solely on selling useless services at inflated prices. I strongly advise...

“Sadly a bad experience”||||The room was smelly, smell came from toilets and out of the sink, which were inside of the room. I ask the host about it and she said she can only spray something in the room which she did. I asked to open the window and that was not possible because then there would come musquitos she said. Which is kinda annoying when there is such a bad smell. I have read other reviews on booking and there are more who say the female room is smelly. There is only 1 female room so I couldn’t change room. ||The watertank made a noise every minute, really every minute it took me so long to fall asleep.||They did my laundry, my clothes are destroyed. There are permanent orange spots everywhere in my clothes! Can’t wear it anymore! Now they say that the spots have been there before already, before I brought my laundry, so its funny that they blame me. Why should I make up a pathetic story like this? I emailed them and they offer me 100.000 rupiah, which is kind of nothing compared to the costs of my destroyed clothes. For 6 euro’s I can’t buy new clothes! Won’t come back here, such a pity!||Also the price of the hostel is way too much for a smelly room, destroyed clothes and watertank that makes noise. This is such a lovely place and the atmosphere is really great. The place is quite clean, organized and the staff is so professional and kind as well. Enjoying the pool, the food and the laughter with the guests and staff is really a great experience there.

I enjoyed every day I stayed at the Pudak Sari Unizou Hostel. Had the chance to get to know so many people from all over the world and the place is so chilled that you just embrace the happiness all through your stay. The short walk to the Kuta Beach and, being close to many pubs, clubs and bars is definitely a plus.

The hostel is such a great combination with Bali, a wonderful place, warm, graceful, with kind and friendly people and with good beaches as well.
