Hotel Puri Saron Senggigi — Hotel in Lombok

We stayed for 3 nights and were lucky (for us, anyway) to catch the low season so the hotel was not busy.||From the time we arrived until we left the staff were absolutely wonderful: cheerful, helpful, professional, they obviously care about doing a great job.||The management of this hotel are doing their best to keep an ageing facility in the best possible condition: our room was spotless and kept that way by daily room service, the restaurant clean and offered some of the best food we found in the Senggigi area; the included breakfast was one of the best we have come across: huge, tasty, well presented.||Got to mention the incredibly comfortable bed in our deluxe room.||If you’re a fan of CNN, BBC and the like, you’re likely to be disappointed, there were some English channels but nothing newsy.||The new aircon worked well.||Our room was ground floor level but the majority of standard rooms were in a 4-storey block and I saw no elevator so think about this when booking.||The hotel is located so that it provides direct access to the beach.||The main shopping & “entertainment” area of Senggigi is about 10 minutes away from the Puri Saron and this would be an easy walk if there wasn’t a hill between the two, so I suggest you rent a motorcycle, which the hotel can assist with @ Rp 50-60,000 per day....but be very careful on the road.||If you do rent, the outfit you hire the bike from will ask you to hand over and they will keep for the duration of the rental some original form of ID so be prepared for that.||For people arriving at Lombok airport, Senggigi is about 75 minutes away so factor that into your travel...

Pretty Comfy Hotel. straight on the Beach (black sand beach "fishing beach").

the rooms are so spacious. clean and comfy beds.

the view from your window depends on your room selection. as some rooms have a view of wall and tiny plants.

Pool is great. you can sit right next to the pool . have a cup of coffee. take a dip in the pool. etc...

the staff are really kind and so welcoming.

the pool is always open. and they have towels at pool. and plenty of sunbeds.

the breakfast is not much. they have some 2 local cuisine dishes, eggs, hot drinks, toast, butter... good for light breakfast.

spacious parking lot. you can just walk straight to the beach. take a towel and you can sunbathe at the beach.

the location is good as it's away from noise and you can go south or north to beaches for a good swim.

true indonasian experience . unlike euro style hotels. but with good services.

they have a nice garden so you can sit in at night.

foe the price it's good. nit a fancy hotel. but really fair for the price.

the room has everything you need. sanitary items, towels, and cabinet for your items.

the water pressure on the sink is a bit weak. but the shower pressure is good.

they even have qiblah directions in rooms and a prayer mat so you can do your prayers.

wifi is good within rooms. but a bit slow at pool area.

sunset on this beach is so stunning.
