Coco Loco Cafe — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Me and my boyfriend came here whilst staying in Lombok as he is a very fussy eater we struggled to find food that he liked. However, we both loved Coco Loco and the food is incredible and cannot recommend it anymore when staying in Lombok. We ate here 4 nights in a row the place was that good. We didn't take any pictures as the food was too good and we just wanted too eat it. We tried a variety of dishes such as the sweet and sour chicken, fajitas, Indonesian dishes, spring rolls, pasta and it was all delicious. The menu is very big with lots to choose from. The staff work their socks off and go out of their way to attend to you, they even helped us choose dishes to suit our tastes/likes. The staff are very friendly and remembered us each night! Considering we were staying in a 5 star resort were the food we didn't enjoy we would happily give Coco Loco 5 stars. Finally just to mention the chocolate brownie is heaven!! Can't wait to return here...

This place is overrated! We waited for 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. No wonder there were so many people. It's not because the food is good but because people have to wait freaking long for the food. The food there was very bad. We had the worst pizza ever - ordered fungi pizza, but can't find single mushroom on it, only tomato sauce and some tomato slices. The crust is more like bread than pizza crust. Thought maybe their local dishes would taste better because it's their local dishes? No! Even their local dishes were quite bad. The chicken was tasteless and dry. So...

Expensive for local prices, and the portions are not filling. I had a prawn salad for 45k Rupiahs and it was highly disappointing, cold eggs, toasted bread passed as croutons, too much sauce on salad, and the shrimps (not prawns) were not evenly properly cleaned. Rest of family got the beef burrito (which was not burrito at all), satay beef w rice was passable, and the dish was my wife was also disappointing. Touts outside were calling on our table, ruining the only thing this had going which was the view. Too bad, short sighted management as we are staying next door...
