We were booked into this hotel because the price are quiet cheap and it is just a walking distance to our site project in Makasar and also quiet near to go to the famous Losari Beach in Makasar. We choose the Superior Room with two separated bed.||||Coming in a very late midnight due a flight delay, what a surprise to see the hotel from the outside. it's looks like a very old hotel and never being renovated. No choice, very late already and we are just proceed the check in and straight to the room. Just like the exterior, the room interior was very terrible comparing the price we pay to this hotel for 500K....||||Aircon not working, just blowing a wind. No internet connection in the room for 500K you paid, you must go downstairs to the old fashioned Lobby or Restaurant for a slow internet connection. The room are very dark and spooky, we can't see the difference between the linen are changed or not because it's too dark inside. The bathroom are not well maintained and so disgusting...||||The breakfast are the same things, the dishes already cold when we are coming around 9 AM. Tasteless, seems like just a breakfast for formality purposes. No good coffee in the morning, the coffee taste are worst than an instant coffee you buy in a mini market, and they call orange syrup as an orange juices...what a mess and we feel that we are being cheated...||||I suggest to find another hotel if you come to Makasar, I will not come back to this hotel anymore no matter what. Thanks God we just stay for a short period, the most thankful thing was the flight delay which save us from more terrible things...
Read moreI ordered deluxe room with breakfast for 3 nights. The staff were friendly but almost is never enough.
In Traveloka, it was mentioned that I supposedly get refrigerator but they said due to broken hence it's not available and hot kettle for boiling water, you need to ask at the front office else they won't offer it to you as well as the slippers. The kettle itself was dirty and I need to cleaned it up myself. The mirror within the room got a sticky gel and it has been days the cleaning services didn't do anything about it, again, I did it myself. They didn't even take out dirty plates when cleaning. I called the hotel and they told me to leave it outside of the room, from the afternoon until past 12 o'clock at noon the next day, the dirty plates still at the front of my door.
Don't bother the towel here, it was nasty and torn all over. No hot water at all. The breakfast, not worth it. The stairs, way too narrow, make sure you stepped carefully.
I stayed because the hotel is in strategic location, but you may have another better place with the same benefit as well as proper services that you didn't even have to ask and more of cleanliness. The air conditioning was cool anyway.
Oh! One more thing. The roof was leaking, to the walls and floor would get anywhere. So if you were about to check out, make sure to keep your luggage safe else, your things would get wet and be super heavy. It was a mess during rainy...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel 3 times whilst in south Sulawesi. On the first occasion we were upgraded to a suite and on the next 2 occasions we stayed in a standard room. Whilst the suite was larger with an ocean view and had tea/coffee making facilities etc. the standard room was clean, large enough and perfectly adequate although the window looked onto a wall. We would not have come back twice after our initial visit unless we were satisfied with the hotel.||I am amazed at the poor reviews from people who appeared to expect 5 star service at 2 star prices. The lift was large enough for 2 people with bags, the staff were friendly and helpful, they did not charge for an international phone call when I had problems with a bank card. The breakfast was mainly Indonesian buffet style but they would cook an omelette on request. The 6th floor sky garden restaurant/bar was excellent for a happy hour Bintang whilst enjoying the sunset over the sea. We could use the free computer at the nearby Losari Beach Hotel for internet access. ||The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of Fort...
