My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Belajar Bali in Canggu for two nights, and it was nothing short of a perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty and tranquility that this hidden gem in Bali had to offer.

The accommodation at Belajar Bali was simply exceptional. The villa was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional Balinese charm. The staff at Belajar Bali truly made our stay unforgettable. They were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. From arranging transportation to offering local recommendations, their warm and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of joy to our experience.

Belajar Bali was an absolute tranquil oasis for me, tucked away off a little laneway from the busy Batu Bolong. It’s so quiet + peaceful, yet everything that Canggu has to offer, is literally at your doorstep!

I felt immediately relaxed as soon as I arrived + within a few hours, wanted to enjoy an afternoon nap. The space is like a dream. It’s picture perfect with everything you could want. Festoon lights over a turquoise pool. Beanbags to sink onto. The beds + pillows are so soft + the giant mosquito net makes you feel like you’re in a film set.

Staff are on hand to take care of anything, make coffee + fruit for breakfast, order food from neighbouring restaurants, carry luggage or answer any Q’s.

I was shocked how peaceful it was with 8 rooms in a small space. I almost felt like I had the hotel to myself much of the time, even though there were many other guests. I cannot recommend it highly enough + cannot wait to return for my second visit. Thank you to ALL THE STAFF + Management for making it such a special experience! It really is a dream...

We stayed at Belajar for 1 night but it was not for us. There is not enough privacy. You are sharing the space with 7 other couples. So even tho the sunken lounge area looks nice to relax in, it’s not so relaxing when there are strangers sharing the same space. Also the same for the pool and jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is tiny and can only be used when not occupied by anyone else. Pool looks beautiful but once again you feel a bit self conscious as you are sharing it with others. The location is so hard to find as there is no signage, driver could not locate it. Driver eventually found it and had to drive down a narrow road and nearly ruined his car as the bottom of it scraped on the road. Perhaps get any driver to stop on Main Street and not drive down the side road. Place looks amazing and would be good if you booked entire rooms for your group. Just not enough privacy, no tvs in...
